I always have to have both Glaceon and Leafeon with me, despite the lack of need for a grass type in most games. Others that I use a lot are Jolteon, Pichu, Gengar and I often like to use my starter throughout a game too.

Although I believe that this is probably just down to coincidence I have always found it really odd how every Eeveelution can learn shadow ball despite none of them being Ghost type and all of them having generally restrictive move pools.

Leafeon :D

Leafeon, with a surprisingly high defense base stat it can really take a hit, and it can pack one too with it's high-ish base attack stat, a few swords dances and then leaf blade it can sweep through some strong teams. Possibly the most versatile, underrated Pokemon.

Legendary - Lugia Non-Legendary - Pidgeotto, for some reason I've always preferred it to Pidgeot.

Lance is just too cool for school. Back in the original games - seeing his Pokemon for the first time was just awesome!

Although Jolteon is without any doubt at all my favourite, Electivire has to take the prize for the best. His combination of Electric and Ground makes him so super strong!

Very true! I remember getting Pokemon Blue like it was yesterday. And of course anyone younger than 15 or so wont remember the excitement of the initial Pokemon cards - Which was indeed epic.
