the whole "steal their souls" schtick with different powers in different areas is heavily reminiscent of contemporary Zelda, as are the large disconnected spaces consisting of light overworld with town areas interspersed with tight dungeon segments

also I've been playing SMO and my take is that this is the dumping ground for all the Zelda excised from BotW
my guess is that the "most" they're using is for cases where the online functionality is something very minor (like Affordable Space Adventures) where it wouldn't make much sense to bill you for it when it doesn't really affect much in-game and is pittance on the servers
he's using it as an example in that context - they're not gonna commit to including anything for Switch 2: Electric Boogaloo at this point, just because it's trendy and cool now says nothing going forward
