Wow. That's pretty cool how the legendaries become shiny in new missions. I wonder, does that mean Zekrom and Reshiram become shiny after they've been defeated a few times too? Not that it'd matter...but it would be sort of cool to see/fight them in their shiny forms.

I do, I admit. I put a lot of work into some of my pokemon so why shouldn't I be attached to the dern lil databits? I mean, sure, according to some people it's lame and stupid and it makes me a friendless loser who will live in a basement forever somehow....but it's just how I enjoy the game so...

Not really. Celebi is. Regardless, I still don't see why that means you deserve a banner. I've seen a lot of people hunt manaphy and just give up.

I gotta ask, what does you hunting manaphy have to do with Zabi being willing to make you a banner or not? I mean, I could decide to hunt Manaphy or Jirachi if I wanted and that doesn't make me special or anything. It just means I'm attempting what will probably be a time consuming hunt many...

LOTS of hunts end early. Just because a lot of people get Masuda shinies early does not mean the odds are lower than what's been found in the game code. I've seen a LOT of RE hunts end in under 4000 encounters but I think we all agree that the wild encounter shiny rate is still 1/8192.

I usually catch them, train them up, and use the heck out of them like any other pokemon I like. Doubley so if I SR a shiny one.

Thanks! They aren't really that hard to hunt though. Unlike all the other roamers you don't need to track them down. Just check your pokedex and bam, you can tell if they're shiny or not. And thanks for the wish of luck. I'm at 1400 eggs so far so I'm hopin he'll shine soon~ Good luck on...
