I believe Goodra is a frontier brain level pokemon and I know it tied and lost its two matches against Slurpuff and Bisharp but Slurpuff was a fairy type and Alain's Bisharp was broken. Plus even before the league it was shown to be a powerful pokemon before it left Ash.

Flint's Infernape faired better against Leon's Charizard than Alain's MCX so I believe it beats MCX Same as before. Rillaboom wins Incineroar z move does a decent amount of damage but Rillaboom wins if it was base Rillaboom I'd say Incineroar could win maybe 3/10 times.

I don't think they'll replace ash for the SV anime but I do feel like it could be the last generation Ash is the main character in. I think that the SV anime will have Ash age up and it will introduce or reintroduce a character who is meant to become the next main character of the pokemon anime...
