I presume he said that with the permission of the unnamed producer who was with him when the interview was conducted (this is only a personal guess but I think that if it wasn't permitted, the producer would've asked the magazine to keep it out of the published interview) but I don't think...
I think that what we need to keep in mind is that this interview was conducted while the show was still under Yuyama's leadership. With Tomiyasu now at the helm, I'm not entirely sure that anything stated in this interview that relates to Amourshipping can still hold any weight today.
IIRC, Tomiyasu isn't just any director, he's the executive director a.k.a the head honcho of the whole anime; the same position that Kunihiko Yuyama held from the very beginning of the anime up until the end of S&M. AFAIK, it's not a position that changes every series like the director position...
As stated by Panky.. on the last page, the scoreboards during the battles in the preview are all blank so I'm more inclined to believe that these are indeed unofficial exhibition matches.
This post that Shadao made in the Spoiler forum has pretty much convinced me that Ash's victory over Leon is pretty much inevitable and like he said, he realistically wouldn't really be able to find a true answer to the question "What does beating Leon mean for me?" if he didn't actually do it...
I'm already a member so I'm way ahead of you on that ;).
As for the bracelet, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the colour red associated with love in Asian culture? I recall seeing this being mentioned by one of the more prominent members of the community who is apparently Asian themselves so...
This is probably nothing big but there's something interesting that's been brought to my attention on Reddit:
It turns out that in the magazine scans that show Serena in JN105, the red bracelet on her left wrist that she's seen wearing in the actual episode is missing. Like I said, it's...
I don't know if this possibility has been mentioned before but I wonder if it's possible that Lucario could be learning something similar to Aura Storm (Lucario's Final Smash from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)? BTW, this is just me rambling about a pipe dream of mine so...
The only other ones I can think of off of the top of my head are Tierno and Trevor but yeah, I don't think we have anything to worry about on that front.
Elsewhere, I'm glad that we finally got confirmation as to what that ornament on Serena's left foot is thanks to the overdue after story. I...
Here's something pretty interesting I've come across on Twitter:
This concerns the ornament that Serena wears on her left foot during her performance. According to a Google Translation of this tweet, it seems that wearing an ornament or decoration on your left foot has a deeper meaning in...
In Japanese, it has the title "Friend's Theme (See You Again!)" but in the context of Amourshipping, I think it's quite the stretch to suggest that the title means that there's a friendzoning happening.
It's already been mentioned in the episode thread courtesy of SerGoldenhandtheJust but there's a particular theory going around concerning the green lights on the dock when Serena watches Ash's boat sail away:
What do you guys think?
