Since every travel companion + paul got a shoutout from the new preview episode, I think all these character will come back at some point during this series. This series, based on the preview, seems to have an emphasis on nostalgia (unlike Kalos), so past character are probably coming back!

He also need to power up some of his "weaker" pokemon to be a better battler. Ash needs to evolve totodile to Feraligatr and have him learn liquidation! And quilava needs to evolve, too!

Since there is no description, and we have no information on the episodes before this, it could easily be Dawn and Brock's pokemon. Maybe they traveled to Sinnoh to compete, and there was a reunion in Episode 7?!

8 Episode titles already?! And the episodes seem to hint at heavy continuity?!?!?! What a day to be alive! PM 2019 is going to be a lot of fun! How deep will the continuity go? In my opinion, it will all hinge on what the special shows this Sunday. Will it show a lot of older stuff? If it does...

In Advance, it was sad Ash starting with just Pikachu in a whole new region. But that could've been because Gen 2 games weren't compatible with Gen 3 games, so that may have been a way to illustrate that in the show. We won't know for sure until Sw/Sh comes out, but maybe Ash's four Alola...
