I had quite a long string of evolving nothing but Flareon for a while-- Jolt was the last of the three I managed to get, and I ended up finding that one in the wild (with my highest CP to date, no less).
As already said though, random is random. Hopefully you find the ones you're looking for!
Since FFXIV was brought up, first expansion Heavensward is confirmed for release in June on the 23rd. Preorders are up now, but... there's been issues.
I play on Gilgamesh.
How about a trip through memory lane, shall we?
Data from my original Blue and Crystal versions have been lost.
Green: コズイチ [Kozuichi]. I think I was trying to go for "Little Hammer" with this. That save file never continued far past the Boulder Badge.
Emerald: Ourichs, after a character I...
It's just before I go to bed when I post this, so no link from me, but the next content for Theatrhythm Curtain Call was revealed recently. The FF content this time around is a BMS map for Vamo'alla Flamenco (FFIX)-- otherwise, there's more Mana, more SaGa, more Chrono Trigger (Frog's Theme!)...
Tactics Advance has a somewhat lighter sounding OST due to the difference in tone the game has compared to the grimdark original. That said, it is Hitoshi Sakimoto we're talking about.
Now that I checked, they switched up Calling and Twister in the track previews as well. Who checks this stuff? :P
I do agree with the rest of your post in introducing more FF songs-- there's a handful that even I'm surprised that haven't made it in yet. Tactics Advance stuff? Assault of the...
Cut quickly back to Theatrhythm Curtain call news, where the next set of "Second Performance" DLC has been revealed!
Six tracks this time around, including pieces from Chrono Trigger, The World Ends With You, Romancing SaGa 3... and the triumphant (if severely belated) debut of Liberi Fatali...
Now you mention it, I kind of see that. I mean, look at the shelf space used for Skylanders and Infinity-- while crossplatform, it's just two games with a whole bunch of collectibles.
Yeah, so far disappointed with the lack of a non-XL model-- that's the one I was really looking forwards to. Regardless, I still feel the need to upgrade my system because I'm getting weird memory card errors on my original.
What to do...?
A thought, so don't take this as an offcial answer. Since you're asked to log in to your Nintendo Network account, could you theoretically just use your old login when using the application on your new New 3DS to access your original Bank?
It's been confirmed that North America will see all the "Second Performance" DLC (the recently announced slate from the FanFes as well as the Bravely Default set) as soon as tomorrow, with more on the way in the new year!
Theatrhythm Curtain Call is getting more DLC in Japan next week, as also revealed at the XIV Fan Festival-- since two of the new tracks are from the game. It'll also include a selection of tracks from other Square Enix retro games, namely from the SaGa series, Mana series, and Chrono Trigger.
This weekend also happens to be the FFXIV Fan Festival in Tokyo, where there's been much information revealed about content in the Heavensward expansion-- and the upcoming "Before the Fall" update (patch 2.5) which precedes it. Among the highlights of the reveals is the new playable race in...
The demo sorted itself out: I can transfer again. I still haven't decided on where the Glalie is going to go, however-- it's only that and the Heart Scale set left.
OMEGA TURN
Duelleck's gone through the "climactic event" and caught Groudon. (At this point, there was a trip to Littleroot to obtain the National Pokedex, which *does* become available here before Wallace points you to it.) Manectric proceeded to electrocute Wallace and his entourage for the...
It's looking like I might actually have to *restart* the demo version from scratch. My system (an original 3DS) has been having issues every once in a while, so I had to check to see if the battery's OK.
Ever since then, though, Steven's not been letting me ask to transfer anything over-- "come...
Also in the ORAS National Pokedex page, I've actually been able to obtain the upgrade by talking to Prof. Birch before challenging Wallace, but still after the encounter with Groudon/Kyogre.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth
Juuuuust picked this one up today. This one will actually be the first SMT-related game that I've actually played, after so many years of humming and hawing over trying to pick up either P3 or P4.
It's really fun so far, though.
ALPHA TURN
Starting my playthrough of Alpha Sapphire was a slight more difficult for me because I spent at least 10 minutes deciding on a name for the Female trainer. (I have to be creative for this sort of thing.)
Using FFXIV as a slight bit of inspiration, I settled on Merlwyn and began her...
