That was... wow. I didn't expect to ever miss Sun and Moon but it definitely went above and beyond what any of us ever thought it would be. Today's episode only furthered this. Team Rocket RELEASES Mimikyu and Mareanie, I really thought they would be brought over but I guess not, and leaving...
Odd battle with Kiawe considering Lycanroc was/is the ace of the region (probably Incineroar at this point) and he was STRUGGLING, first time we saw Charizard use Inferno Overdrive which is nice to see! Also we saw Manaphy this episode and will definately see Solgaleo next episode, I wonder what...
Naganadel vs Tapu Koko was absolutely insane, I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best part of the episode but just wow. I'm certain this is one of the highest forms of Pikachu we've seen, maybe DP is better by a little but Ash literally just showed why he deserves the champion title...
Just wow, the preview for this episode looks insane, this is where the whole shows budget has gone jeez. Very happy that Naganadel is getting a chance to shine here and using Sludge Bomb as well! I can't figure out what the move Tapu Koko uses in the extra bit of the preview against Naganadel...
I think it might be X-Scissor, Naganadel doesn't learn Megahorn and Ash called for it when the episode finished, but it looks weird because it's fully animated at the stinger and not like the hands or anything else that might make an X
I really doubt this, some that come to mind are Araquanid, Toxapex and Kommo-o, even then, things like Type:Null haven't actually had a dex entry read out about them, and some Dex entries have been from James' book of all things, such as Oranguru's anime pokedex entry
So Kukui has Venusaur and Empoleon, pretty cool considering that means he has three starters, one from each type. He has two gen fours so that scraps the theory of each gen and a mega Lucario to rep gen 6, however we don't know his last, wondering why they decided to keep that a secret
Honestly ash's team seemed really bad before the league, a pikachu which isn't anywhere near peakchu, lycanroc which could very easily still lose against his rival's lycanroc, a rowlet, a torracat with zero grand trial experience, a little baby meltan and a released poipole who we never saw...
Repeated animation in the finals is a bit annoying, would have liked to see Melmetal use some other moves before it got taken out, like Harden maybe to make it stop crying. I think it crying was meant to convey it's still a baby on the inside?? I love how Rowlet has found a home inside Melmetal...
Woooo, Never-Ending Nightmare is finally shown off!! About time too, not many z-moves left then. I see Pikachu and Zoroark tieing so we can see the two wolves duke it out in full HP but honestly, I don't see Pikachu losing to Zoroark, Pikachu really has only been hit by one Shadow Claw at this...
Please don't let Melmetal evolve and just let it lose immediately, hopefully he sees Melmetal is struggling and swaps it out. Lycanroc could be disguised as Zoroark, with Lycanroc using Snarl it's ambiguous since both can learn the move but its probably Zoroark. 4v4, so I'm assuming Ash doesn't...
Great battles today, I wonder though, if Gladion can change types at will, does that mean he can change it multiple times?
From what I got from it was that he (like in the games) has lots and lots and lots of 2nd and 3rd place trophies but no first place, I'm not sure how this lines up with the...
