A couple of questions: 1.When my starter isn't part of the scramble team, I use it as minimally as possible until getting my first one, right? 2.When is the scramble challenge considered beaten?

i throw a ball relevant to the situation. if it's a weak pokemon that would get KOed if I tried weakening it, I use Quick Balls. In caves or at night, I use dusk balls. A legendary battle that takes a while will get Timer balls after a lot of rounds I usually use normal balls...
