I got a girl as well and named her SnowBelle. I quite like her. I've played through about 7 times now. I'm trying not to use the starter megas too many times though. I don't want them to get boring before I can have my Mega Swampert in the full game.

Finally! It was raining on Route 14 and I managed to evolve my Sliggoo. Into the PC with Goodra and I was off to explore Route 18. Beat the Inverse Trainer and got a berry (was hoping for an evolution stone). Battled the other trainers and the sky trainer on the Route and then called it a day.

The past few days I've been trying to evolve Sligoo, but Kalos seems to be suffering a major drought. Every time I've visited in the past Routes 8 and 14 have always been raining. Now...not a drop =(

Oh yes, I'll second that about Gyrados. He was harder to defeat than Yveltal.

My Flaafy, Lady BaBa, finally evolved into Ampharos and she is fabulous in her Mega Evolution. Combusken also evolved. Now I need to get back to work on Skrelp and Skorupi so I can move forward to the next town/gym.
