I am hoping that with Ultra Sun and Moon coming out they add official gyms to the game and Anime. This way Ash's team can get a lot more development. The anime unfortunately has been boring for me without being focused on battling.

It works for the games because there are still a lot of battles in there. However, it is making the anime boring (in my opinion of course) because the show's main focus isn't battling right now. Especially after Ash just got 2nd place in the last league. I hope they have some league at the end...

They definitely left a new form for Lycanroc out there based on time of day. They have a midday and midnight form, so there can be something based on a morning/break of dawn form.
