Yeah, it was just outside in some shaking grass. Should've made that clear! While estactic (as it was my 1st), I'm a bit annoyed that they gave me a shiny when I wasn't looking!

While trying to find a Gligar (odds of 2000/1), I encounter a shiny (odds of 8192/1). I think the game is trolling me a bit!

While trying to get a Gligar to appear in the Hidden Grotto on Route 23, I found my 1st ever shiny! I DON'T CARE THAT IT'S AUDINO, I CARE THAT IT'S SHINY! Though I have just realised I'm roughly 4x more likely to encounter Gligar in the HG than finding a shiny!

I can understand why Dragonite are so hard to get, but Gligar? Been trying to get Gligar for a while now, and I'm happy to bet that I'll keep on trying to get Gligar for ages, what with the odds of 2000/1! As for female Gligar, no chance! 6666.667/1!

I have what could be a really stupid question about MM: I know you need 2 pokemon from different countries, I get that, however, would MM occur if one parent was American and the other was British? Or does it have to be different language titles?

The biggest fail I can think of was done by Nintendo/ Game Freak themselves: Adding a profanity filter and then adding a pokemon whose name doesn't pass said filter http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/563.shtml THAT is a fail!

When breeding, if I give a Power item (such as Power Anklet or Power Bracer) to both parents, will the offspring have both EV's 100% of the time? Or will it only pass down 1 of them?
