Sean, a boy of 14, has always dreamed of meeting the Silver Butterfree... and so, he began to avidly study and observe bug-type pokémon in the tallgrass, writing every single piece of information into a large tome which he carries around with him. The book, then empty, was given to him by his grandfather before he passed away, and now Sean wishes to coat the pages with his knowledge...

Kaci
The dark-haired Kaci met Sean on Route 29 one afternoon, and has since become the object of his affections, but will the sudden revelation that she too is a bugcatcher shake up the budding relationship?

Why is your comic called "Netted Bliss"?
There's an expression, I'm sure you've heard of, called "wedded bliss". Since the story revolves around a bugcatchers, who use nets, and there will be some relationships, I decided to make that small play on words and use it as the title.

Not such a great start. It seems pretty boring so far and the joke could have been better. But it is only the first comic, so i'll wait to grade.

So the bug catchers quest is to find the silver buterfree. It's interesting But I'm quite sure this could be fromed into a side quest in pokechow because I doubt you can keep all three active.

For starts I like the new sig. About the comic:

Pretty good start, it looks impressive as usual but this is only the first comic so I have no idea what is happening.
It looks good visually and the story has a lot of originality but that humour (If it was) was a bit off.
Keep going would be good advice, so you know Keep going...

This is another search-for-the-treasure comic, which is almost as bland as a journey comic. I think you need to slow down and work with your other comics before you start another one. You need more practice, you're not perfect. You have potential but only if you work for it.

FANBASE: Give crits. The majority of you are blind unintelligible idiots who know nothing about comics. Instead of "I like it", say WHY you like it.

If you're too muxch of a moron to do so, kindly stfu.

I think it's a little bit early for you to be assessing my plot, when you know precious little (other than what you could gather from the teaser text) of it. I do understand your point on slowing down... I tend to take on a bit more than I can chew sometimes, but I would really like to do things this way. Everybody needs more practice. You do, I do, everyone does, and no one's perfect, not me or you. It irritates me when someone of equal or lesser talent speaks to me in such degrading and patronizing terms. Get off your high horse, and then we'll talk.

I do agree that some of these posts have been useless. That's why I'm not responding to all of them, but, if you'll notice, I have a small note about that in my first post.

Well, when I think of the word 'silver', I think of myth, legend, glory and fantasy... Don't ask why... and since the butterfree is a mythical insect, silver fit with it...

While I see where you're coming from, I will disagree. The plot is much more than a simple little quest for a butterfly... and it's subject matter (which is mostly serious) would not have fitten with the characters, situations, and style of Chow.

Well, I hope I'll top the last one with each page, but you should keep in mind that NB is similar to E in that it won't always be "good" because a number of pages makes up an issue as a whole.
