I need some help

I need a easier way to get a modest staryu.
is there a way to breed pokemon together that will have a greater chance of getting a modest staryu.

This only works on Emerald, though, so if you're playing Ruby or Sapphire, you're out of luck.

Hmm, that was weird. It gave me 2 posts and it stuck them in the middle of the thread at a time when I wasn't even home.... lol

I wish they had that option in Ruby. It would make breeding so much easier and less time consuming.

if you don't have a modest ditto, but you do have a modest pokemon with synchronize, you can put it in the first slot of your party and:

a) fish for staryu, half of them will be modest

OR

b) go into the desert underpass and catch dittos until you get a modest one, about half of them will be. you can then use that for further breeding.

thanks, I just hope i have a everstone, can you get them from a store.

you can find at least one in Granite Cave, it's in a rock on a platform in the room with smashable rocks. top part of the area.

if you already got and tossed that one, you can steal them off of wild geodude/graveler.
