Anywhoo, since the thread was last closed, I got the approval of other mods and got the ok to make a new and shiny Claim a Pokemon Thread! Now, before you claim your Pocket Monster, there are a few rules!

THE RULES
This thread is for claiming Pokemon ONLY. Not for claiming your favorite trainer or gym leader.
No claiming different versions or formes. This means no shinies, shadow forms (as seen in Colosseum or XD), or different forms (i.e Shaymin, Rotom, or Arceus). I am following Vycksta’s old post as a guideline, and I have to say I agree with all of her rules that were put into place. That’s why I’m saying no to formes. Also, this is general claiming. Therefore, claiming Ash’s Pikachu after you seeing somebody else claiming Pikachu just won’t fly.
Follow and use all of the forms given to you! Use them correctly, and you’ll get your lovely Pokemon! Super simple, right? Do not complain and whine if you get a strike because you did not follow the forms in this post. They're super clear and simple.

If you make a claim and see that someone has gotten there before you did, DO NOT EDIT YOUR POST! Make a new one.
First come, first serve. However, if someone tried to claim a Pokemon you wanted and they didn’t follow the form, then it’s fair game.
YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF SPPF FOR AT LEAST A MONTH BEFORE YOU CAN CLAIM! YOU WILL BE WARNED IF YOU’VE BEEN ON SPPF FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND YOU’RE TRYING TO CLAIM!
Also, this month rule also applies to inactivity. If you’re inactive for a month and with a claim, your claim will be considered null and void. Also, getting banned - no matter how long - will cause you to lose your claim, whether if you’re making one or have already claimed one.
BE PATIENT. I will get to your claims as soon as I can, and there are some days I can not make it onto SPPF. Do not complain about the thread not being updated right away. I am an adult, and I do have college and other things going on. It is your responsibility to check the other posts and see if your claim has already been claimed!
Follow all of these rules, and you’ll get your Pokemon! Super simple, right? However, if you don’t follow the rules properly (namely, the form) you will get one strike, and you can’t post here for a week. Two strikes, two weeks. If you get three strikes, you’re banned from this thread permanently.
THE FORMS
These are pretty simple, so make sure to follow them! Then you’ll be on the way to claiming your favorite Pokemon!
To claim:
Pokemon ((English name)) --- Username --- Date of claim
IMPORTANT!
There has been different ways people have been posting the date, and I understand that everyone has their own way. However, for this thread, post the date as shown in the examples. Failure to do so will result in a strike! I've been lenient about it, but I've been having to edit everybody's claim. So now, this rule is effective!
To change a claim:

IMPORTANT: NOTE THAT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CURRENT CLAIM FOR ONE MONTH BEFORE YOU CAN CHANGE IT AND ASK FOR ANOTHER POKEMON!
Also, if you’re attempting to claim a Pokemon from a user that’s been inactive, please state this in your post.
