17-inch : 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo iMac G5

Not sure if this is the right section, could be here or Wi-fi.....

For my 18th birthday I will be receiving a 17-inch : 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo iMac G5, with Wireless Mighty Mouse and Keyboard. from my parents. Along with a whole bunch of programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut Pro, etc.. from my teacher at school.

I know that the Nintendo USB Connector does not go well with Macs, will it connect to my Built-in 54 Mbps AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi (802.11g)3

Please say yes....

If not can I get a Wireless Router and link it up to my Mac and do it that way?

Sorry, but no. You'll have to buy a seperate PC, or buy Microsoft's Virtual PC 7 for Mac.

Nintendo Wifi - Apple Airport Extreme Router Compatability

You CAN use your Airport Extreme for Nintendo Wi-Fi play only if you buy one of those. Having one built-in doesnt mean its a wireless router. It just means it can access wireless. So.. you'll need to buy an external Airport Extreme.

If you buy a separate router it usually connects to the broadband before the PC does, so you should be able to just get a router and use it
