2 new regions?

Well trainers, I don't usually speculate about future games, and what's new about them, but... I thought maybe with games that have a bigger capacity, like the Nintendo DS ones, they might enlarge this D/P version for two regions, maybe having the ability to choose our trainer's sex and name, as usual, but applying this to region? Diamondia and Perlopia? hehe... well those are just thoughts, but then nintendo'd praise the good name these games deserve...
As in the G/S/C games we have the Johto and Kanto regions, we could access the second region the same way... Your thoughts?

I think if they did the two world thing it wouldn't be like G/S/C but one version is one world with some pokemon, and the other version is another new world with other pokemon. it'll make it more worth buying both games.

Yeah. People would try to get both games just so they can get all the pokemon. Right now i'm saving for the POkemon Ranger and as soon as i have anough money to buy it i'll start saving money for pokemon D and P.

I don't know if this is going to happen but still I would like to comment. Yes this would be a very good idea they did it once they could do it again! Also they might be different regions then Diamondia and Perlopia! lol those are funny anyway....It might be the region in Pokemon Ranger but mabye not cause I saw a disscusion about it and they said no then it was closed but yes the Nintendo DS does have a bigger capacity then any other platform the Pokemon RPG has been released. But the G/S/C was good but you would have to do certain things just to get to Kanto and i kinda didn't like doing that. so that is why I think it is a bad idea cause of the certain events you had to go through but mabye they won't do that. mabye they could start out on a City like the always do and then once you get a ticket or something then you could go from this region to this region. I really like this idea!

They should have something like the Islands on FR/LG but they should let you fly to any island once your on one. On FRLG you can fly on the Islands but only to another Island close by so you could not fly from Island 1 to Island 7 for example.

shove it up ya bum!
I think it would be good to have the new region plus Hoenn. Hoenn has to be my favourite environment-wise and pokemon-wise and it would be good to have it in the new games.

I've always like the G/S/C games best not only for the real-time feature but for the fact that you went back to Kanto and it was three years later and you saw how "life went on" so to speak. It would be real great if Nintendo not only gave us a chance to go back to Hoenn in D/P but to also go to Johto, Orre, and Kanto (if not all, at least a couple or one).

I don't know about that for Orre and Fiore, 'cause technicly, they don't count. Orre was used only for Colosseum and XD, and Fiore is used only for Pokémpn Ranger.. If they were going to put them in one of these games, they would have done it already. Besides, I wouldn't worry too much. 'Cause I'm putting all the main regions in my fake games- in generation order: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, 4th generation region, and, my own creation, Niji. (Japanese word for rainbow) I assure you guys, that if my games hit the shelves, your skills will be put to the ultamite test. Almost all these gaming ideas are being put into these games. The day hours will be improved, the seasons will be put in, and ALL Pokémon will be obtainable.

Side note: This is it. in just a few hours, I'll be headin' for Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I won't be posting until I come back on the 10th. Serebii, When I get back, I will be expecting Pokémon D/P related updates like english names, and pieces of info from that CoroCoro magazine that comes on th 15th. I know it's alot to ask for, but like me, alot of fans are expecting this sort of info. So, Please, try not to diappoint me or them. See y'all on the 10th.

Hmmm How about in one game you begin in one region then move to the other when you defeat it and vice versa for the other?

Instead of two regions, why not make one giant region, somewhat like the size of Hoenn in comparison to Kanto except to a greater degree? I'd like to divulge in all of the goodness the games will have to offer in one concentrated expanse rather that accepting it piecemeal.

I think 1 region is enoug.........but i would like the option to unlock more areas via the GBA-slot. They could do that by giving you an extra empty gba cartridge and then you could download throug wi-fi an new area ,not to big but just new enough to keep it interesting.

I don't think Diamond a Pearl should have separate regions. it would brake a tradition.

I don't want them to have seperate regions. I'd rather GF put all their hearts and attention into one full region with enough depth, substance, and mystery that we could enjoy for a long long time. Why would anyone want to go back to Hoenn? Nostalgia perhaps? IMO, the previous regions have had their time.

Well it would surely make a more interesting game. Maybe also it would have all the otehr islands. Four-island game anyone?

I'm going to go by that we'll have one region surronded by islands (Think Golden Sun 2 for example) and stretch gameplay out a bit. If it turns out as one big region (Comparing Hoenn to Kanto kinda) I'll be cool, as long as it has new pokemon, cooler gameplay and touch screen that'll be good.
I hope we don't go back to Kanto or Hoenn because really, we know them well enough. Maybe a trip back to Sevii.

Maybe they should have different regions in both games as quoted before by Starmie but once you link up with someone witha different version it will unlock a part of the world u dont have on your game. Hey i like when my mind runs wild.

That sounds great, I think they should have 2 new regions in one game so the game seems longer. But I doubt they will.
