2 Questions about Prolonged Evolution and Volt Absorb

Hi there!

Since I'm relatively new to the 3rd Generation Games, I got two questions, which I hope are worth to be answered.

I. How often can evolving into a stronger form of a pokémon be prolonged? I.e. how often can I interrupt an evolution attempt by pressing 'B' before the pokémon stops trying?

II. How does Volt Aborb, Water Absorb work? If, in a double battle, I were to hit my pokémon with Volt Absorb with my other (electric) pokémon's thundershock, would it take damage first and then regain health or just be healed?

you can just hold "b" as it starts to evolve. it will cancel at the first opportunity, as long as B is still being pressed. it never stops trying to evolve, until level 100.

it just gets healed. by 1/4 of total HP, rounded down, or to full if they're at higher than 3/4.

I: Indefinetly, it will never stop trying to evolve, unless you make it hold an everstone, but if you take the evrstone off, it will try to evolve again until it gets to level 100.

II I'm almost positive if you attacked your own pokemon they would gain health.
