This team is for the Pokemon Video Game National Championships. These are the Rules.

Notes: Everything except for the moves and items are set in stone for Kyogre, Mewtwo, and Aerodactyl. I can only teach one Pokemon Substitute.

The reason I'm using ubers is because according to the rules they're allowed and everyone else will be using them. Please only recommend an alternative if it is more powerful.

Aerodactyl (Male) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
Nature: Jolly (+Speed/-Sp Attack)
- Aerial Ace
- Rock Slide
- Double-edge
- Earthquake

Ninjask (Female) @ Brightpowder
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Attack / 6 Sp Defense
Nature: Adamant (+Attack/-Sp Attack)
- Silver Wind
- Shadow Ball
- Baton Pass
- Protect

Ninjask is supposed to be a Mewtwo/Uber Psychic type counter.

I know there are only four Pokemon. I could use some help on what Pokemon to add to my team.

Ditch the Hax items (Focus Band and Bright Powder).

Just a few things that are cool in 2v2:

Groudon+Eggy
Boom+Protect/Ghost
EQ+Protect/Flyer

Ninjask sucks, you could easily make Mewtwo your Psychic counter by making it physical. It gets a bunch of awesome physical moves :/ That or toss in a Metagross.

I don't know 2v2 well but those are just some things to throw in.

What is Groudon+Eggy?
I've thought of Boom+Protect/Ghost but then Aerodactyl would lose Choice Band.
I can't make Mewtwo physical because I only have one and it's modest.
Metagross sounds like a good counter but could it withstand a thunderbolt or flamethrower from the average Mewtwo?

What is Groudon+Eggy?

You lead with Groudon and Exeggutor (who has Chlrophil). Eggy puts something sleep, Groudon Sword Dances and from there it's obvious.

I've thought of Boom+Protect/Ghost but then Aerodactyl would lose Choice Band.

Lose Aero then, he also sucks

Probably not FThrower. TTar then off the top of my head. Dark type immunity + a handful of resistences.

A partner for TTar (immune to earthquake & sandstorm). I'm not sure about the Nature & EV's.

Immune to Explosion but, I'm not sure on the other details.

Metagross @ Choice Band

Sub is terrible on doubles unless you have a Nidoking to Flatter you right after. You need to come up with a true strategy of your own you can't expect to sweep through good players. Your T-tar + Skarm will never get setup on ubers and skarm is just a terrible poke. You too should try reading this guide by pasting this link

If youre going to use a weather oober, you might as well use a SS/CP to abuse it. Everyone else will. Also, t-tar fails in 2vs2.
