3 vs. 3 Pokemon Battling?

I was just looking in the Pokemon D/P section and there was this link that's entitled controlling battle. You know how your line up is just like a straight line? Well i saw this picture that had three pokemon you choose to battle with and i was wondering if they'll have 3 vs. 3 pokemon? I am doubting it but still. It's just a thought. They would be too much pokemon

If you look at the top Pokemon, it has a rounded corner to its template, unlike the other five. It's just a different way of organizing Pokemon on the screen, in no way indicative of which Pokemon are in battle.

It is how the party is organized. Three on one side, three on the other, like in the RBY/GSC days (or was it all Pokemon in a straight column)?

yeah i mean 2v2 is already confusing as it is already

thats just over killing it

Also the screen would be so squasded up.

There really wouldnt be a need for 3 on 3 battling. We already have 1v1 and 2v2, and they provide different battling experiences, however, i dont think that adding a 3v3 mode would bring anything to the game, it just seems excessive.

Multi-pokemon battling would be interesting but if u continued increasing the number of pokemon in a battle u could end up with 5 different trainers with all six of there pokemon fighting at the same time. 30 pokemon all battling at the same time now that would fill up your screen.

Sorry i got a bit carried away but think about it

I don't think they would do that. It would be way to crowded and imagine iof they animated it. They might focus on all 6 but they wont be showing off alot of moves. Or they might show off alot of movies for 4 pokemon and the other 2 are neglected. Im almost 100percent sure they wint have 3 on 3. My guess is they organzied the 3 on each side colums so you could use the stylus to click on each one easier. If it was the other 1 to 5, you would mos tlikely keep missing constantly.

I just hope not. It would mess everything up. For the most, bring back Apricorns. And the G/S/C way of getting berries. But instead of the tree being there, you've gotta buy expensive seeds and take care of it while it is little. Then it would take care of itself with rain, nutrients and all that stuff.
