3rd generation movesets in the 4th generation

I dont think theres a thread like this:

presumably some pokemon from older generations will appear as well as those that have been revealed.

However in the 3rd generation some pokemon learnt different moves between fire red and ruby e.g. kirlia learnt magical leaf on fire red but not on ruby.

My question is what games moveset would be used in this case on diamond - fire red, ruby or a mix?

They'll probably be FR/LG's movesets along with new 4th generation attacks added.

Yah, I think there will be some change, I don't beleive they'll go overboard, but I bet they'll throw in some more attacks. I'd rather them work on new pokemon than worry about new attacks on old pokemon.

I don't think they'll make drastic changes, just new moves here and there.

I think there might be new moves in the movesets. there will be new moves, so some of the old moves will be either taken out to make room for new moves. like they did in G/S/C. hopefully more bug moves for Scyther.

I reckon that they will be loosely based upon those from FR/LG - consider that several Pokemon were greatly enhanced by the benefits in those games - but will be noticeably different as well. More new moves will make way for old ones, spacing out the level-up selection across a wider range of levels.

I think they'll do what they did for previous games, use the old move sets, but Upadte them as well.

They will probably mix the old sets and throw in some new moves.
