4 hours and counting...please help

hi, i spent this saturday trying to catch this elusive suicune..
im still trying, 4 hours and counting and i just dont kno how to do this without a masterball
it is very time consuming to even meet up with it (met him 5 times in the 4 hours), and even when i got it down to 1 health and paralyzed, he keeps breaking out of the ultraball/fastball/heavyball and roars, and i am stuck trying to find him again for another hour or so..
if anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated!

Keep trying, never give up. A sleep status would have been better than paralysis, but what's past can't be undone.

Are you looking randomly for it? If you found it once, he'll appear on your pokedes, but if you fly to that area, it'll move away. So if you bike to that area, it'll still be there when you get there.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
A little trick me and my bro thought up, which actually works (Usually):
Bring lots of ultra balls andnormaol poke balls, get Suicunes health as far down as it can go and put it to sleep or paralyze it. Use about 5-7 ultra balls in a row, then throw a normal poke ball. Suicune will not anticipate the sudden ball change and, hopefully, it will catch him.
Hope it helps.

thanks for the replies guys, ill stick to just ultras
but the problem is, i bike to the place it indicates on the pokedex, but when i reach the grass area and check it again, it already moved to the other side of the map, weird. its like its playing a game with me =\
**update** 20 minutes after this post i raised my gastly into a level 36 haunter with mean look and hypnosis just to catch this guy
i biked around even tho he led me around all of johto... and eventually stopped and on the third meeting hypnosis finally worked and the first ultra ball got him.. thanks guys hypnosis > paralysis for sure =]

Yep, it's a good trick that does work. If a pokemon breaks out of a ball, use a weaker one. It's worked for me on many occasions, though usually I play one version at a time so trade over the masterballs from the other two (I've got all three). I use one for the stronger legendary bird, the other two for two of the dogs and I let the last one be a bit of a challenge. ;)

In addition to trying to get Suicune to sleep, moves such as Mean Look or Spider Web can trap Suicune. Just raise a Pokemon with one of those moves to a fairly high level, and when you get to Suicune again, just make sure you have plenty of Ultra Balls and you should be fine.

EDIT: I completely forgot Mean Look doesn't work when they can Roar >>. I'd suggest you use any sleep causing move and start cutting its HP.

Bonemerang and dnglover25: Mean Look and Spider Web would be wasted moves for the legendary dog, cat, ect. will just Roar you away, so focus more on draining its health and doing status effects.

My strategy:

Advantageous Pokémon: Haunter/Gengar, Butterfree with a Sleep-inducing move, such as Hypnosis or Sleep Powder, respectively, and some other moves that cause damage.

Level Range: Beyond Level 45. Has to be.

Strategy: Being that Hypnosis and Sleep Powder are very tricky to execute, with their accuracy very low, this may fail from time to time, but trust me, this is the best thing you can do. Parasect and Spore may work, but you have to have it at Level 100 to match a Level 40 Suicune's speed. XD

Lull it to sleep with the move and whittle Suicune's HP down to low amounts with Night Shade, Confusion, Psybeam, whatever, so long as it does a reasonable amount of damage. I find that moves such as Giga Drain and Thunderbolt/Thunder Punch to be reasonably effective against Suicune. If at all Suicune awakens before you bring its HP down, don't give up; just keep trying or level-up your Pokémon further.

This is how it worked for me...I hope it does for you...

Suicune isn't all that fast really, even though they run about I have never thought their actual speed stat to be high enough to even try using fast balls. I just send to sleep and lay on the ultra's, they usually work best.

K-os, if Mean Look is used, Suicune'll Roar out of there. Fast Balls are only two times as efficient as Poké Balls if and only if the Pokémon is faster than you. If not, then it's just as efficient as a Poké Ball.

Ultra Balls are 2x efficient no matter what scenario you're in, so ensure the Pokémon falls asleep and whittle its HP down slowly but surely...
