Does everybody hates 4-Kids Entertainment?

Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure. -

The question is why.
1. They don't release the japanese language DVD's of their shows.
2. They have to make their own music which is awful and almost never fits the scene.
3. They've declared war on Japanese culture and even the sneeze gag has been editted out of their dubs.
4. They also tend to make moronic edits not related to Japanese Culture.
5. They're run by the one man I hate more than Matt Millen.
6. Although Pokemon has been gutted, 4Kids has butchered One Piece.
7. Despite removing almost every last Japanese culture reference from the animes they dub, their domestic shows (TMNT and GI Joe) have plenty of it and are some of the best shows made in America. Though I bet that's because the creators who are outside of 4Kids were heavily involved to make sure they didn't screw around with it.
I may think of more.

I'm rather alright with them...but I hate how they pretty much ruined One Piece.

I saw what they did to Pokemon, and I see that the dub is 95% identical to it's Japanese counterpart. The worst you can say about the Pokemon dub is the different soundtrack and the occasional dubbing error. (Trainer's Choice, various name/attack errors, etc.)

While I admit that they do make lots of pointless edits, I don't mind them that much for some reason.

I prefer to consider the 'English versions' completely differnent shows from the Japanese counterparts. As, with all the alterings, they really are.

I am a diehard One Piece fan, and wanted it to get a good reputation in America. But I guess that will never happen, what with the hackjob of a dub it's getting. Never watched Shaman King(either version), and only saw one episode of Sonic X dubbed, so I can't really know about what ol' Al did to them, but I assume it wasn't good.

I'm leaning on the hate side for the bad job they do with the music. But I believe they have the potential to do a good job.
I sit back and hope for one of these threads to come up so I can look at the fans' opinions. I hope they get their way.
Then I reason why 4Kids make all those decisions. It's screamingly obvious, isn't it?
