4Kids Entertainment stop Producing Pokemon?

Well if you look on www.4kidsentertainment.com, under news, it says after a long 8 years, 4Kids will no longer be producing episodes starting after the 8th season. And the last day was December 31, 2005. I don't know what this means but it says PokemonUSA will now be producing the episodes.. Can someone tell me what this means?

...As far as anyone knows, 4kids will continue to dub Pocket Monsters. The dub will remain the same as always.
