Now i had to battle ghetsis i used morkez and he defeated cofagrigus (my rule is that i can only use him once), pooh got critted by ****ING BOUFALLANT!!!! i hate crits that is the bane of nuzlockes you dont know how many times i got critted in this nuzlocke, RIP Pooh i will miss you, bruno avenged pooh by brick breaking the boufallants neck. Danny ohko'd seismetoad, now that pooh is gone what am i going to do against hydreighon i think i lost here, let me see, i send out bruno to see what i can do i use brick break and it does surf we are both in the low yellow, then i use a potion and it uses dragon pulse putting me in the yellow i switch into Danny and it uses surf letting me survive but im not fast enough and it kills danny with fire blast..... RIP Danny i am legit close to crying. i send in bart to see if i can do something like spam sand attack or something and i had sturdy so i survived a hit and i landed a sand attack, i heal up and it launches another focus blast and i survive again with sturdy, then i heal and AVOIDED A DRAGON PULSE!!! then i send out an attack but it hits first but misses again and i ko it with STONE EDGE!!! thank arceus but i still have to defeat two pokemon. he sends out bisharp and i send out bruno who is in the low yellowi heal him up and it uses stone edge but i survive with over half health so i use brick break and ko it in one hit thank arceus again!!!! last pokemon is elektross so i switch to Bart since he has sturdy, it uses wild charge and it does less than half damage which is awesome!! and i use stone edge which does more than half, then he uses wild charge again not doing much and i survive and i use rock blast killing elektross!!!!!!!!!!! THANK LORD ARCEUS FOR THIS VICTORY!!!! And i won, but really at what cost?

There is not much use in continuing the nuzlocke so i will end it here thanks for reading if you did. here is the final outcome. I might go for the seven sages though just because but probably not.

Survivors
Bruno the emboar Level 53
I started with you and ended with you, and you were always by my side and kicked *** when needed, your biggest feat was living to the end and defeating/helping defeat some of ghetsis's pokemon.

Bart the Gigalith Level 51
You were such a boss i had you since the near beginning and you never disappointed me you helped beat lenora with ease, you beat one of ghetsis's strongest pokemon you were the very best you and Bruno are tied for best pokemon on the team.

Tracer the Watchog Level 50
I am very surprised you survived all the way, you were my first encounter and the way you used your unique moves and techniques against your opponents was great, and you defeated one of N's pokemon with ease you were a pretty valuable team member and you will be known as one of the watchogs that got through the pokemon league.

Unofficial Survivor:
Morkez the Zekrom Level 50
You are a legandary pokemon... not much i can say you replaced wilma after she died from the marshal battle so yeah you have that going...

Deaths:
Ace the Pidove Level 11-11 died from a crit by a parat.
You were on the team for like four seconds and while you survived your attacks were alright IIRC

Freddie the Pansage Level 10-11 died to a sacrifice against Cherens Dewott.
Thank you for your brave courage in sacrificing yourself and you were great in the first gym, yay...

Janet the Sandile Level 20-24 died to cherens liepard when i was switching out and it used pursuit
No offense but you werent that strong at all and i tried to switch you out but Liepard got the best of you.

Lenny the Liepard level 10-25 died against Cherens dewott that got a critical hit razor shell
You were the first major death you were a good pokemon and you did great while I had you but that posessed dewott thought otherwise.

Tyson the Gurdurr Level 14-26 died against cherens dewott getting a crit from water pulse
Oh my god... You were a very hard loss you hit hard with your attacks and you were great against lenora but then that dewott came along and critted you.

Mimi the Minccino Level 19-19 Got killed by a pursuit switch kill
I was excited to use you but that pursuit kill always gets me.

Daisy the Ducklett Level 25-28 Got critted by a watchog but survived and then got hit by the sandstorm
I was mad when you died I was hoping you would survive to be a beautiful swanna but sadly that didn't happen.

Clarice the Deerling Level 22-30 Got killed by clay's excadrill
I was hoping you would live like marrilands chickadee (sawsbuck) but you had a defense lowering nature which was what was your downfall.

Archer the Archen Level 25-30 died against clays excadrill
You were a heavy hitter and were very strong and i was excited to have you but you came revived from a fossil back to death.

Disappoint the Tynamo level 27-30 got one shotted because it is weak
You were a weak little piece of crap you could not defend for yourself you were the worst pokemon ive had in a while i wouldve been fine with anything else in chargestone cave! D:<

Wilma the Druddigon Level 33-49 Got killed by marshal elite four team
You were hard hitting tomboy and you were very powerful and had a cool ability but marshal was too powerful for you but without you I wouldn't have survived that battle so thank you.

Pooh the Beartic Level 26-50 Killed by ghetsis's boufallant
You were an MVP you stood for all the beartics that have been made fun of and laughed at you beat skylas swanna and one shotted all of iris's pokemon but you were very weak as a cubone but it was perfect once you evolved you were also a help with the elite four you would have survived if it wasnt for stupid crits.

Danny the Leavanny Level 14-51 Killed by ghetsis's hydreighon
I am so sorry you were a very very strong and fast pokemon I thought you were faster than hydreighon i wasnt thinking and it was my fault you carried the team through caitlin and another member and it was devastating to see you go.

Thanks for reading my Nuzlocke! I hope you enjoyed I might post again about the seven sages and I might not you never know what might happen good bye!

floccesy ranch?

Decided to do this in Black. Its Japanese, however, and I'll be unable to translate nicknames for them when I catch them, so they'll have nicknames on here but not in-game.

Here are my rules:
-Normal Nuzlocke Rules
-Two clauses immediately go into effect upon finding and capturing a Shiny
--Shinies, given how rare they are, cannot die
--Shinies are exempt from the capture clause
-Duplicate species of anything previously obtained, dead or alive, are forbidden
-Legendaries can be used IF they are the first ones found in an area WITHOUT using a Repel.
-Floors of caves are different areas(Ex. Chargsestone Cave allows for three captures instead of one), but buildings do not count as different areas(Ex. Catching a Pokémon on Route 2 forbids me from trading for the Emolga. Reviving a Fossil bars me from trading for the Petilil).
-Extra captures are only allowed for In-Game Trades.

I started with Snivy, which shall henceforth be known as Leaf Lord. Easily beat Bianca and Cheren. Juniper showed us how to catch Pokémon, which I mindlessly button mashed my way through. My first capture was a Patrat, which I've come to call Mine(Pronounced Mee-Nay). Raised Leaf Lord to Lv.8 and Mine to Lv.6 and went to Striaton City. Mine easily beat N's Purrloin. On Route 2, I caught a Lv.7 Lillipup, which I've named Courage. Got Mine and Courage to Lv.8 and Leaf Lord to Lv.9 and battled Bianca. Leaf Lord grew to Lv.10, and Mine grew to Lv.9. Beat the trainers in the Dreamyard, with Mine and Courage growing to Lv.10. I'm now fighting trainers in the Striaton Gym in order to level up my party.

:495:-Leaf Lord-♂-Tackle/Leer/Vine Whip/Wrap
:504:-Mine-♀-Tackle/Leer/Bite/Bide
:506:-♂-Tackle/Leer/Bite/Odor Sleuth

is it the new lode screen that makes it count? like floccesy ranch front and back?

Following my Moon Nuzlocke, I've decided to attempt another one in White - which I've failed twice before (once to Lenora, and once to Ghetsis.) Like my Moon Nuzlocke, I won't be applying one of my older Nuzlocke rules, where I'd only allow myself to use the same number of Pokémon when battling against Rivals/Gym Leaders/Team Bosses/etc. (basically anyone with a unique character sprite.) For example, my first White Nuzlocke ended in failure because Lenora took out two of my Pokémon in a 2-VS-2 Gym match, but this time I can use my entire travelling team against any opponent.

THE TRIO BADGE:
Having received a Grass-type Snivy (Eden) from Professor Juniper, I found myself up against Fire-type specialist Chili in my very first Unova League Gym match. Our battle began with a Lillipup-on-Lillipup showdown; thankfully, Pedigree (Lillipup) claimed victory with two "Tackle" blows, since Chili wasted his only chance to attack by raising his Lillipup's power with "Work Up." After Pedigree lowered the defenses of Chili's signature Pansear with "Leer", I decided to end things with a duel between two of Unova's elemental monkeys. Even after using "Work Up" twice, Pansear's "Incinerate" did pitiful damage to Percolator (Panpour), so I tried (unsuccessfully) to inflict some paralysis with "Lick" before extinguishing Pansear with "Water Gun."

THE BASIC BADGE:
Even with a plan in place, I still feared the worst as I entered my Nacrene City Gym match against the notoriously-strong Normal-type expert Lenora. My anxiety levels raised even higher when Herdier's "Bite" made Chiseled (Roggenrola) flinch on the very first turn. Once I managed to set up Chiseled's "Iron Defense", however, I was able to slowly but surely wear down the Loyal Dog Pokémon with super-effective "Rock Smash" strikes. Instead of unleashing a fatality-boosted "Retaliate" with her Watchog, Lenora commanded her ace to use "Hypnosis" and instantly put Chiseled to sleep. I risked keeping Chiseled on the field until he awoke in order to inflict a single defense-reducing "Rock Smash" before swapping in Vigil (Watchog), who had just recently evolved while battling through Lenora's apprentices. Our Watchog-VS-Watchog finale proved to be a real nail-biter, as Vigil clung on with just a sliver of health after enduring a critical-hit "Crunch" and "Retaliate", before concluding the match with one last "Rock Smash."

Four badges down, and four more to go in my White Nuzlocke.

THE INSECT BADGE:
My Castelia City Gym experience proved to be pretty straightforward, mostly thanks to my team's ability to exploit the many weaknesses of Burgh's bugs. Although his Whirlipede's "Screech" rendered Chiseled's (Roggenrola's) "Iron Defense" strategy moot, a single "Rock Blast" barrage buried the Curlipede Pokémon anyway. Fearing the power of a critical-hit "Razor Leaf" from Leavanny, this seemed like the perfect opportunity for Earhart (Tranquill) to make her Gym battle debut (particularly because she'd recently evolved as I fought my way through the Battle Company.) Even with Earhart's natural resistance, "Razor Leaf" managed to cut her deep, but the battle was quickly won with "Air Cutter." Recognizing that Earhart didn't have enough energy left to endure a Rock-type attack from Burgh's final choice, Dwebble, I made my final substitution and brought out Percolator (Panpour.) A critical-hit "Smack Down" put Pecolator in a tight spot, but because Dwebble lacked the nifty Ability Sturdy, a single "Scald" meant the Insect Badge was officially mine.

THE BOLT BADGE:
After a tumultuous trek through Route 4 and the Desert Resort, my transformed team and I arrived in Unova's premier entertainment destination: Nimbasa City. I expected my newfound ally Gritty (Sandile) to be the star of the show at the Electric-centric Nimbasa Gym, but Elesa made sure I didn't earn a Bolt Badge quite so easily. Her first Emolga made a sizable dent in Gritty with just one "Aerial Ace"; thankfully, the speed drop from "Rock Tomb" enabled Gritty to attack first the next turn and claim the first win with "Assurance." I was taking the same approach with Elesa's second Emolga when she decided to utilize a Hyper Potion, and Gritty's "Assurance" triggered Emolga's pesky Static Ability. Now paralyzed and low on health, after taking an "Aerial Ace" from both Emolga, Gritty needed to bow out of the match sooner than I'd anticipated. I decided to rely on recently-evolved Chiseled (Boldore), who'd proven himself at previous Gyms. He withstood an "Aerial Ace" with no trouble at all, but his lack of an Electric-immunity allowed Emolga to use "Volt Switch" to bring out Elesa's ace: Zebstrika. My luck actually changed for the better at this crucial moment, as Chiseled's Quick Claw activated, permitting him to wreck the Thunderbolt Pokémon with "Rock Blast" without taking any damage himself. My luck continued to hold out as Elesa's second Emolga returned to the battlefield, with Quick Claw enabling Chiseled to attack first again and seize one last "Rock Blast" victory.

Still collecting Badges as I make my way through western Unova, inching ever closer to the Pokémon League in my White Nuzlocke.

THE QUAKE BADGE:
In one of my easiest Unova Gym experiences yet, I showed Driftveil City Gym Leader Clay who's truly the boss. Eden (Servine) sliced-and-diced his first choice, Krokorok, with a single (Scope Lens-assisted) critical-hit "Leaf Blade." Recognizing my potential, Clay decided to call forth his ace: Excadrill. Since Eden couldn't deal super-effective damage to the Ground-and-Steel-type Subterrene Pokémon, I sent out Percolator (Simipour), who withstood "Bulldoze" without much trouble. I was surprised to see that a single "Bulldoze" slowed Percolator down enough to let Excadrill attack first the next turn, but thankfully "Slash" didn't land a critical hit, and Percolator's "Scald" left him with a burn that depleted his last sliver of health. With Percolator's energy running low, and Clay's Palpitoad sporting a massive weakness to Grass-type moves, I made the obvious call of bringing back Eden to conclude the match with a "Mega Drain" + "Leaf Blade" combo.

THE JET BADGE:
Clipping Mistralton City Gym Leader Skyla's wings proved to be just as easy as burying Clay. Admittedly, I'd made a point of helping my new companion Taser (Galvantula) evolve prior to the match, since the rest of my team is weak to either Flying or Water-type moves (Percolator is still alive and well, but I decided to retire her to free up some space on my travelling team.) It turned out that I didn't even need Taser to take down Skyla's ace, however, since Chiseled (Boldore) grounded both Swoobat and Swanna with "Rock Blast" while they wasted turns on "Amnesia" and "Aqua Ring." Swanna's "BubbleBeam" managed to wear down Chiseled quite a bit, though, so I did rely on Taser to shock Skyla's final choice, Unfezant, into submission with a Magnet-boosted "Electroweb."

With all eight Gym Badges in hand, I'm now in the home stretch of my White Nuzlocke.

THE FREEZE BADGE:
Icirrus City Gym Leader Brycen's team proved to be more like snowcones than glaciers. Admittedly, my team was a little over-levelled (in the 39-41 range) after exploring all of the areas made accessible thanks to the HM03 I'd received from Champion Alder. Brycen's Ice-type inclination made this the perfect opportunity for recently-evolved Rowdy's (Scafty's) Gym debut, who crushed Vanillish into cubes with a single "Brick Break" ("High Jump Kick" seems too risky for a Nuzlocke journey.) Brycen's ace, Beartic, took the hit better, but failed to significantly dent Rowdy's defenses with "Icicle Crash" before falling to her second strike. I decided to turn this Gym match into a double debut by bringing out my newest addition Clockwork (Klang) to "Gear Grind" Brycen's last resort, Cryogonal, into dust.

THE LEGEND BADGE:
Despite the suboptimal type-matchup, I insisted on leading with my premier partner Eden (Serperior) in my eighth and final Gym match against Opelucid City Gym Leader Iris. My faith was rewarded when Eden's "Toxic" successfully landed on Fraxure right away, allowing her to claim the first victory while Iris wasted turns on "Dragon Dance" and Hyper Potions. I started to use the same approach against Iris's Druddigon, but she made sure to get rid of Eden this time with "Dragon Tail", thus forcing Taser (Galvantula) onto the field instead. Thankfully, the compounding effects of bad poison and a critical-hit "Signal Beam" made for a fairly swift second win. I decided to keep my status streak going by instructing Taser to use "Thunder Wave" on Iris's Haxorus, before swapping her with Impaler (Escavalier), who I'd trained specifically for this match in the wake of Hypoxia's (Frillish's) shocking demise. Although multiple "Dragon Dance" boosts had me feeling nervous, Haxorus never managed to use a single damaging attack due to the crippling effects of paralysis and Impaler's crushing "Iron Head."

Eden {Serperior}
- Lv. 44, Lax, Overgrow, Nuvema Town
Rowdy {Scrafty}
- Lv. 44, Impish, Shed Skin, Route 4
Gritty {Krookodile}
- Lv. 44, Bold, Moxie, Desert Resort
Taser {Galvantula}
- Lv. 44, Calm, Compoundeyes, Chargestone Cave
Clockwork {Klang}
- Lv. 43, Hasty, Plus, P2 Laboratory
Impaler {Escavalier}
- Lv. 44, Sassy, Swarm, Route 6
Womb {Reuniclus}
- Lv. 43, Naive, Overcoat, Route 9
I've been working with a slighter larger team lately since I've struggled to fill the void left by Hypoxia (Frillish) and I'm honestly not sure which six I want to take to the Pokémon League. Womb (Reuniclus) would be helpful against Fighting-types, since Taser's (Galvantula's) fragility renders her natural resistance virtually moot. Impaler's (Escavalier's) numerous resistances and offensive prowess could definitely be useful, but that leaves my team pretty susceptible to Fire-type attacks (and I've already struggled against more than one Darmanitan.) Strategically, it would probably make the most sense to send Eden (Serperior) to Professor Juniper - but I just can't bring myself to abandon my starter, especially after losing so many other teammates from the earlier stages of our journey.

I just defeated N & Ghetsis in my White Nuzlocke. Phew!

VS SHAUNTAL:
For my Unova Pokémon League debut against Ghost-type genius Shauntal, I opted to play things by-the-book with a "Rest"o-Chesto strategy. After raising her offensive power with "Work Up" (the only attack-boosting move she can learn before the postgame), Rowdy (Scrafty) slept off the burn from Cofagrigus's "Will O Wisp", immediately awoke, and then chipped apart the coffin with "Crunch." Shauntal's Golurk fell soon after, and although I was a little nervous that her Chandelure might outspeed Rowdy, my fears were not realized. Chandelure's Flame Body did leave Rowdy with another burn, however, and with her Shed Skin Ability turned into Mummy by Cofagrigus, this felt like the time to finally give her a break. Eden (Serperior) proved to be the perfect pick against Jellicent, easily withstanding "Surf" before seizing victory with "Leaf Blade."

VS GRIMSLEY:
Lady Luck clearly wasn't on the side of Dark-type dandy Grimsley during my second Pokémon League match. While he wasted turns instructing his Scrafty to use "Sand Attack", Impaler (Escavalier) boosted her strength with "Swords Dance" before striking out with a surefire "Aerial Ace." I did a little gambling of my own by leaving Impaler on the field when Grimsley brought out his Krookodile; luckily, she endured "Earthquake" and managed to hit her mark with "X Scissor." At this point, I made a safer bet by swapping in Gritty (Krookodile) to axe Liepard with "Brick Break" and rumble Bisharp with "Earthquake."

VS CAITLIN:
My Pokémon League match against snoozy psychic Caitlin wound up boring me much more than her. Things started with a Reuniclus-on-Reuniclus showdown, and Womb ultimately claimed victory thanks to a "Shadow Ball" barrage. I considered keeping Womb on the field to subdue Caitlin's Musharna as well, but decided to put a different plan into action instead. I called on Gritty (Krookodile), who absorbed Musharna's "Shadow Ball" before chomping away with "Crunch." This triggered Gritty's nifty Moxie Ability, which allowed him to go on a "Crunch" rampage against the rest of Caitlin's roster.

VS MARSHAL:
Fit fighter Marshal had me sweatin' more than I'd expected in my final Pokémon League match. I got off to a rough start when Throh outsped Womb (Reuniclus) and hit hard with "Stone Edge" before getting obliterated by "Psychic." Having been nearly killed by a Mienfoo's "U-Turn" during our journey, Womb had to retreat when Marshal sent out his Mienshao. Impaler (Escavalier) took "U-Turn" without much trouble, but Sawk managed to wear down my usually beefy bug with "Stone Edge" strikes that refused to miss. I took a chance by bringing back Womb and healing with "Recover" while Marshal utilized Full Restores. This turned out to be the right call, as Womb mind-melted the rest of his team with "Psychic" (though I did hold my breath when his Conkeldurr attacked first and fired off a "Stone Edge." Thankfully, it wasn't nearly as devastating as I'd feared, possibly because Womb had leveled-up during the match.)

VS KING N:
My clash of ideals VS truth against Team Plasma's King N began with Gritty (Krookodile) one-shotting the Legendary Reshiram with a Soft Sand-boosted "Earthquake." With his Moxie Ability now activated, Gritty made quick work of N's Vanilluxe and Zoroark (disguised as Klinklang) with "Brick Break." Fearing a super-effective "Waterfall" from Carracosta, I interrupted Gritty's sweep and brought out Eden (Serperior) instead. Although the combination of Carracosta's Sturdy Ability and N's supply of Full Restores drew out this battle, Eden eventually emerged victorious. When N's Klinklang appeared for real, I knew it was time to bring Gritty back to wreck it with "Earthquake" and N's final choice, Archeops, with "Crunch."

VS GHETSIS:
Unwilling to abandon his plans even after N's defeat, Ghetsis unleashed the full force of his terrifying team. Not wanting Gritty (Krookodile) to lose his Moxie Ability to Cofagrigus's Mummy, I promptly swapped in Impaler (Escavalier.) She eventually managed to "Iron Head" her way to victory, but sustained considerable damage in the process due to "Shadow Ball" lowering her special defense. Fearing a "Fire Blast" from Ghetsis's menacing Hydreigon, I replaced Impaler with Rowdy (Scrafty), hoping that she could absorb the attack and then move first the following turn. Although I was right about Rowdy's ability to withstand "Fire Blast", I was wrong about her ability to attack first, and she wound up losing her life to a super-effective "Focus Blast." RIP. At this point, I decided to rely on Womb's (Reuniclus's) bulk, even though she lacked a way to deal super-effective damage to Hydreigon. She successfully wore down Hydreigon quite a bit with a "Flash Cannon" barrage, but eventually became the Brutal Pokémon's second victim. RIP. Womb's ultimate sacrifice proved to be the turning point of the match, however, as this allowed Gritty (Krookodile) to re-enter the arena, finish off Hydreigon with "Brick Break", and begin the ultimate Moxie rampage. Gritty (or should I say Moxie) proved to be the true hero of this adventure, annihilating the rest of Ghetsis's team: Seismitoad fell to a critial-hit "Earthquake", Bisharp cracked with a single "Brick Break", Bouffalant succumbed to "Brick Break" as well, and Eelektross was shredded by "Crunch." His selfish ambitions were finally thoroughly thwarted (at least for now…)

I'm calling it a wrap now that the credits have rolled, partially because postgame Nuzlockes tend to involve uhLOT of grinding (that was certainly the case in my HeartGold run), and also because I've already started my first-ever Wonderlocke in Y (which I'm really enjoying so far!) This journey did go by pretty fast, since a decent chunk of Unova is inaccessible until the postgame, but I feel satisfied having finally beaten Ghetsis in a BW Nuzlocke. My final body count was disappointing, but it was rewarding to watch a mostly-medicore team member blossom into a game-winning powerhouse the way Gritty (Krookodile) did. Granted, it definitely helped that Gritty was pretty over-leveled by the time he finished with Ghetsis, thanks to all of his Moxie runs at the Pokémon League and N's Castle. I didn't have high hopes for Eden (Serperior), since his species isn't terribly useful without Contrary, but I wanted to take the chance (mostly because he's the Gen V starter I've used the least.) I was pleasantly surprised to still have him by my side at the very end, and even contributing in some crucial matches (like against Iris and N.) Huge "THANK YOU!" to anyone who read this, and happy gaming!

After a relatively successful Y Nuzlocke, and after feeling that my White 2 Nuzlocke wasn't really worthwhile thanks to using Forge (a Cobalion), I decided to transfer my team to Y and begin White 2 again.

My rules are as follows:
-Standard rules apply. Nicknames, death, etc.
-Game must be in Set mode.
-For my benefit this time- no legendaries. I can catch them, but I can't use them.
-Shiny and Dupes Clauses are on.

Anyhow, this time around, I decided to start with a Tepig. Though I named it Loki at fist, I instead decided to change its name to Dante when I get to Castelia. So, for convenience, I'll refer to him as Dante. He's Naughty-natured.

I progressed through the first couple of Routes, capturing Artemis the Calm Purrloin, Pike the Bashful Patrat, and Marley the Hasty Lillipup along the way (at R19, 20 and the Ranch respectively). Once they were level 8, I fought Hugh. Thinking that he had a Pidove and led with it, I led with Dante- however, I was wrong, and he instead used Oshawott. Instead, I switched to Marley, and took it out with little consequence. I then tore through the rest of the ranch with Dante alone, with Marley taking out any Psyducks I might have encountered.

However, after finding the Team Plasma guy and getting Frustration, I decided to train. There, I found a shiny Psyduck- Bashful nature. I added her to my team.

EDIT: After a lot of training, I took down Cheren easily! Marley was my ace for this battle- he outsped his Patrat with Bite and flinched it, allowing him to finish it with Bite. Lillipup was largely the same, save for taking it out with Take Down to ensure that it didn't survive.

Afterwards, I added Pike onto the team again for some backup, and taught him and Marley Return.

EDIT: After defeating Cheren, I made my way to Virbank- and, after healing, went right to the complex and caught my two new team members- Tigris the Elekid and Rexie the Growlithe. There, I trained my entire team to level 20 before going for Roxie. During training, Dante, Marley and Pike evolved. The newly evolved Pike, equipped with a Silk Scarf, made short work of her backup. However, not willing to let a single Watchog destroy Roxie, I decided to switch to Captain first for her. She almost took out her Koffing, and got hit with a rather unimpressive Tackle. Two more after she healed were enough for it to go down. After Koffing, I switched to Dante for the Whirlipede. It didn't do much- just Protected and hit him with one Venoshock while his Flame Charges took it down.

And yay, Pokestar tutorial now. Joy.

EDIT: So I progressed onwards to Castelia City. For once, I somehow didn't end up taking a detour in the sewers, but remembered where they were and found them immediately. After that uneventful battle, I caught Chopper the Rattata (there were other encounters, but Hugh kept killing them, and I hardly considered that my fault), before entering the gardens and capturing Tempest the Pidove there. I also caught Ghost the Darumaka on Route 4, before training and going to Burgh's Gym.

Rexie destroyed everything. Except Dwebbles- Captain dealt with those.

Afterwards, Route 4 opened up to me, thanks to Colress- but of course, I had to fight him. Though I took his Magnemite down to low HP easily, he healed while I was healing Rexie's Paralysis. So I decided to work around this- I sent out Pike, hit it with a Strength (which took it down to about half), before throwing Rexie out again and finishing his Pokemon with two Flame Wheels.

I progressed to the Desert Resort, and in its three areas (Relic Castle included), I caught Trell the Dwebbles, Riley the Sandshrew, and Scar the Sandile. I went back and reorganised my team. Then, because it was Monday, I happened to be in the area, and because I've always counted stationary encounters as new encounters entirely, I went afte Braviary. Here's where things got complicated- I tried catching it a few times, because the first two ended up Timid, and Tigris ended up dying on the second run. I caught one on my third in which he survived. However, I decided to count him as dead anyway... So RIP Tigris?

I added my new Braviary, Skylon, to the team.

EDIT: And already I've had my next death! RIP Pashmina the Skill Link Minccino. Thankfully I have a backup that I caught on Route 16 with Technician, but still, it kind of bites. If you're wondering, I decided to replace Pike with a Minccino. I'm considering just leaving Floof in the back of the party and giving her the EXP Share until she learns what I want her to learn, but I'm not certain yet.

I also caught Elysia the Petillil in Lostlorn Forest, evolved her, and added her to the team. Captain also evolved.

EDIT: I defeated Elesa. I had a Rock Tombing Sandslash. I really don't need to elaborate, do I?

Anyhow, I made my way to Driftveil, taught Floof Seed Bomb, and began training for Clay. Haven't gotten the free Zorua yet.

Team So Far

I exited the forest and crossed Skyarrow Bridge to arrive in Castelia. I immediately did the Plasma stuff to get through the game faster and took on the gym where my newly evolved Jayne and Swoobat (Who I nicknamed Wash) destroyed everyone.
