I think MMing would be more enjoyable while watching a movie or listening to music. It gets somewhat depressing after egg after egg hatches, and with no prevail. But when the shiny does hatch, what a thrill!

I hatched a shiny Munna yesterday, and decided to resume hunt for a Litwick. I left off at 200 eggs when I decided to switch to Munna.

Should I mass-store eggs and then hatch them in batches, or should I run up and down the day-care road hatching as the guy gives them to me? Which way is more efficient?

I would say saving in front of the old man, getting 5 eggs then hatching and if none are shiny then just soft reset. I like this better because i hate releasing all the pokemon i hatch.

Thats what I'm wondering. I'm currently mass storing them.

As long as the other pokemon isn't Japanese, it should work, I believe... just be patient. The shiny rate is still only like 1 in 1500. To soft reset, just save before the pokemon you want to get and press start-select-left trigger-right trigger unless it's shiny. Then load the game, rinse, repeat.

Currently MMing for a shiny Eevee. I have a box full of about 14 eggs waiting to be hatched, with 2 normal ones already hatched.

A quick question, sorry if its a tad offtopic. Whats the easiest way to find out how many eggs you have hatched? Do you keep count manually or via the game? Ive found relying on the TV in-game hopeless as it takes forever to find out.

Manually, hatch 5 eggs write down, hatch 5 more add it to the other 5 and so on.
