Not as many Nintendo 64 and SNES games as I'd like, but good news overall. The main games were basically decided a while ago, but this is great clarification. One notable game missing the '06 list is Wario Ware Smooth Moves, but hey, more time to clean it up and get those extra microgames in there! But for all us PAL people, this probably won't stick.
As for VC games I want from that list:
The Legend of Zelda
F-Zero
Super Mario 64
Sonic The Hedgehog

Okay - so I'm probably getting about 5 Wii games for Christmas.

Games I definately want: Legend of Zelda, Red Steel, Excite Truck

Maybe: GT Pro Series, NFS: Carbon, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Super Monkey Ball

Virtual Console: Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros.

Well, I am glad that Toe Jam and Earl is there. That game was great. I think that I will just be getting Twilight Princess and Wii Play (soly for the free controller:p)

Iblis Wings
OH MY GOD! They got freaking Gunstar Heroes for Virtual Console! And I loved that game when I was younger and I also loved Gunstar Super Heroes for Game Boy Advance. *Faints but goes right back up*. I know what I'm getting for Virtual Console!

Oh and Wii games. Metal Slug Anthology, Super Monkey Ball:Banana Blitz, and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Solar Crimson

A Crimson Tide
The Virtual Console list seems... disappointing to me, which is why I'm waiting to get the Wii.

I'm hoping that it gets Super Mario RPG and/or Kirby Super Star some time soon.

For me:
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Elebits
Red Steel
Wii Play + 2nd Wii Remote

Well, actually, I won't be able to afford all that:
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
Wii Play + 2nd Wii Remote

Maybe I'll catch up with the other games at a later*date, although, probably, other games will have taken my fancy by then. As for Virtual Console:
The Legend of Zelda
Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong
Gunstar Heroes
Sonic the Hedgehog

Again, I won't be able to afford all that. I'll probably get the Zelda game and the Sonic game... And, again, by that time more games will have come out which will take my fancy more.

ELITE BEAT AGENTS!!!
I'm just getting Zelda, the virtual console doesn't really appeal to me. Might get Wii play as well.

* Trauma Center: Second Opinion
* Elebits
* Super Swing Golf
* Red Steel

Okay, the games that aren't
A. inferior ports
B. inferior multi-platform games
C. old as hell games that you can find free elsewhere

Pretty solid.

Chris

Old Coot
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Elebits
Metal Slug Anthology
Red Steel (Maybe)

Nothing else really interests me for launch. :s Will get Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and Wii Play whenever they hit the US.

One notable game missing the '06 list is Wario Ware Smooth Moves

I believe it was confirmed that it's coming out January 15th. Anyway...

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Monkey Ball
Tony Hawk
ExciteTruck
F-Zero
Bonk's Adventure

Why would anyone "knowledge" about computers pay for the VC if you know what I mean, I'm not saying it's legal but it's not like everyone DOESN'T know about it...and at those prices too?

Your basically paying for roms, but go ahead enjoy great games either way

Yeah thats exactly the same thing.

I've repurchased these games so many times now I'm not going to bother

Why isn't Zelda: TP on that list?

Zelda: TP
Rayman
Red Steel
Excite Truck
Wii Play (mainly becuase you get another controller with it and I may as well get a game with a controller)
