Sounds like they're approaching the end of the 7-star raids.

That would seem to be the case. Unless they have something special planned like the event they had for the treasures of ruin as a final big event this is probably the last of them.

dang, completely missed the Blastoise raid and I'm only missing it, plus Greninja and Empoleon, to complete my mightiest mark starters.
anyone has an extra Blasty they'd be willing to trade?

Beat Blaziken which was one of the events I missed last time. So at least that's another one to tick off.

Poliwrath (Steel tera)
Adamant Nature
Evs: 252 Atk/252 SpDef/4 Hp
Item: Metronome
Ability: Water Absorb
-Drain Punch
- Belly Drum
- Amnesia
- Brick Break

Amnesia/Drain Punch, terastalize when possible, wait for the stat reset, Amnesia/Belly Drum/Drain Punch. Brick Break if PP ends.
