By saying "Let the flaming begin!", you're only inviting people to flame you. Have a little more self-confidence. I found it a little bit odd you mentioned your age... I think it has nothing to do with talent, and is not an excuse...

Your comic is actually pretty visually appealing and well put together. The joke was... well... okay, but it wasn't hilarious.

I'd like to see more from you.

EDIT - Nor is using paint a good excuse...

Good Night!

:) I know, but they weren't excuses...
And I will work on my self confidence!

For a 12-year-old's first comic, it was highly un-noobified. I respect that, Carpet! Excellent for a first! Keep at it and you will be in the Confederacy of Knowledgable Authors one day, I know it.

Oh, you did this in paint? Then it's ok for it to be shitty! WRONG!
Backgrounds: NO TWO TONE BACKGROUNDS! BAD! Two tone backgrounds are a cheap and lazy way of making comics and 1. Take the atmosphere of the setting 2. Make your comic look like ****.
Don't use two tones, there are many sites put there with game backgrounds. Find one and give credit to it when you use them. It will help your comic ALOT.
Sprites: I highly recommend using other sprites then the in battle sprites. They only have one pose and decrease what you can do with your sprites in a comic. Which would look better, sprites running away or sprites magically floating away with lines attach?
Effects: NEVER, use the line tool to show moving! It is a stupid and makes your comic look mediocre. But the reason you use them of course would be the lack of sprites for your character.

Okay, I'll add clouds and stuff!

What other sprites are there? (Please specify) And I tried using sprites that don't 'pose' as much.

What do I use then?

No, don't add clouds and stuff, just get a goddamn game background. Just trust me on this.

There are many sprites out in the great big world. But if you want to use pokemon sprites, why not edit the sprite to give your character more poses aka moves. Like a moving pose, a jumping pose, attacking pose, etc.

Use other effects like if a person falls, make a smaller panel in the panel with a zoom up on it. Be creative.

Ah, alright.

So I edit the sprites?

Okay!

Jetx

hooray, it's Jetx!
Heheh! Still laughing from one that wobuffet fell over and died. I literaly burst out laughing when I saw that! Absolutly awesome well done!

The fact that you said that you were 12 and this was made in paint makes you fail.

Paint is no excuse for your comic to suck. I make all of my comics on paint, yet they don't seem to suck. Other programs are for sexy effects. To see them in action, read either DGG's or Blueray's comics. Anyways, on to the reveiw.

I'm not gonna go easy on you cuz you're a beginer. Infact, I'll go as hard on you as I do anyone.

1) Humor? oh, is that Wobafett falling down like that spoce to be funny? There is no humor sadly. With no humor, all the other little details get upped. A funny comic is a better comic.

2) Sprites. Oh great, one pose pokemon goodness. Make custom sheet or somthin. One pose for each charater is not good (and if you say the Emerald pose & FR/LG pose is a sheet, you are mstaken)

3) Speech Bubbles. Atleast you're using them. Although they are quite bad. You got the right idea in the 2nd comic, but wtf is up with the white border?

and if I forgot somthin, look at Eric's post.

Thanks! But wobbufet didn't die, he just tripped and hurt himself.

Spritesheet(?)

Oh. My. ****ing. God.

If you don't know what a sprite sheet is, don't make a comic! But since your a newbie (Not a n00bie, a newbie) I'll tell you.

It's a document/file (Made on paint or something) that holds all of your sprites, instead of needing to rip them from your own comic.

Gosh, you must be in a bad mood today.

No. It is called constructive critisism. The viewers tell you how to improve it. Don't be a n00b and get mardy because people try and help you.

Alright, you screwed it up. Excuses do nothing. just take the crit, promise to improve and move on, man. You just lost respect. All of mine that I was going to give to you, actually. I will now shun this comic. *shuns*
