This is a Yugioh inspiered story. It focuses on a player and his "Angel" cards (Created by me for this story) and his dream of one day dueling "The King of Games". I haven't read any yugioh stories so I cannont say this isnt like any other but i can promise the cards created for the story are brand new and never before read

Chapter one: A dreaming duel! VS. Invader of Darkness
Like all that play duel monsters, I too dreamed of a day in which I could face “The King of Games”; Yugi Mutou. I fought great duels to come this far and in less than one duel I will be there. I will have a chance at defeating the “King of Games”
“Now Joseph I believe it is my turn” Seiku is one of the best players in duel monsters. His deck so far has consisted mostly on Harpie Lady cards.

Monster Field:
Guardian Angel (Atk- 0 Def- 2200+300= 2500/ def mode. Monster/Light-Warrior/ 4 stars/ Effect- If this card is face up on the field all monster must attack it. The attack of this card may never change from 0. As long as “Guardian angel” is on the field the Defense of this card is increased by 300 for every other “Angel” on the field, including this one.)
Magic/Trap Field:

“Just draw your card!” I shouted back. I was loosing, but if my planned works then I’ll win. Let’s just hope this blond kid doesn’t see it coming. “Hurry up and draw” I snapped. He smiled brushing his long hair off hid pale face, he drew a card and smiled.
“Ok then, you wanted to see my best right? Then here you have it!” Both his monster shattered into pieces “I sacrifice both my Harpies to summon a more powerful monster, the great ‘Harpie’s Pet Dragon’” He threw his card into his duel disk and with an immense roar his dragon was summoned into the filed “Because of my “Air current his attack power is increased by 500 points not only that but I reveal my face down card.” He paused as the face down card lifted “‘Call of the hunted’, it’ll allow me to bring back one monster from my grave and I choose ‘Harpie Lady 1’” His monster was returned to the field and with her ability his pet dragon would gain and extra 300 points making it 2800 something I didn’t need. “Now my dragon attack his ‘Guardian angel’!!” His monster moved to attack.
“You failed to protect your dragon Seiku and now I reveal my face down trap card, ‘Guardians summoning’ and by discarding a card from my hand it will allow me to summon any monster by the name ‘Guardian Angel’ from my deck, hand and or graveyard!” With that two more ‘Guardian Angles’ appeared into my field, all in defense position, their white wings covering their bodies.
“That wont be enough to stop me!” Shouted Seiku with a grin.
“You forget my cards second ability. I pay 1000 points to activate my face down card! ‘Angels Shields’ and equip it to all three of my angels raising their defense by 500 points and don’t forget my guardians special ability which raises their defense by 300 for every angel on the field.” (2200+500+ 3(300)= 3600) His dragon attacked my guardian and his life points dropped (2000-800= 1200).
“NO matter! It was just one attack!” He sounded sure, but once more he didn’t take my angels special ability into consideration.
“Correction, your monsters must attack all ‘Guardian Angels” on the field! So your dragon will attack my remaining two angels not only that but your Harpie hasn’t attacked and as long as ‘Guardian Angel’ is on the field all monsters have to attack!” His monster moved to attack my other two. His life points dropping to zero and winning me the duel (1200- 800-800= -400)

Guardian Summoning (Trap/ Quick Play/ Effect: This card can only be activated if there is a ‘Guardian Angel’ on your field, discard one card from your hand to special summon any monster by the name ‘Guardian Angel’ from your deck, hand and/or graveyard. You may also pay 1000 life points to activate any magic card on your field.)
Angel Shields ( Magic/ Equip/ Effect: This card can be equipped to any monster(s) that meats the requirements. This card can only be equipped to a monster (s) with ‘Angel” in their name(s). Increase the attack and defense of the equipped monster(s) be 500 point. After five turns of activation destroy all equipped monster(s) )
I had won! Finally I was on my way to battle the great “King of Games”. Ding, Dong. I opened my eyes, my vision blurry I could hear the door bell ringing. My TV was on and my deck laid in my hands. That’s when I realized I fell asleep watching Kaiba’s Grand Prix tournament, it was old but still great duels! I hade recorded it so I could study Yugi’s moves. Ding, Dong, I hurried over to the door and opened it.
“Joseph!!! Hurry up! We’ll miss the start of Seiku’s tournament!” It was my friend Merelli, she was about my age 16 we both loved dueling and promised we’d duel each other in a tournament with all our strength. Seiku was my second best friend. He was the regional champion and was very strong, I managed to beat him once… in a dream but it counts on my book. He was in the finals of a tournament to see who would gain duel points.
I guess I should explain what ‘duel points’ are. Duel points are points a duelist can gain for every match he or she wins he or she can also loose them by loosing duels. Currently you needed at least 1500 points to compete in this years championship which started in less than a month. It’s rumored that Yugi will attend the tournament this year and so I trying to collect as many points as possible. So far I’ve only gotten 880 points. OH! Almost forgot, you can wage your points each duel.
“JOSEPH!! Snap out! And hurry up!” She grabbed my hand and I my deck. We began our run down trough the streets. I guess she had come from her house because she was wearing a hippie skirt and a loose white top. She was into nature if you didn’t guess. I on the other hand was wearing my usual black short with white patches and my casual white polo shirt.
It took us a while but we had finally made it to the dueling arena. It was filled from top to bottom with duelist and fans alike. Seiku stood there, his shaggy blond hair much like my own only blond instead of black was rather wet. My guess was the duel was at its peak. He didn’t seem to care, at least he hadn’t dressed up as usual, this time he was only wearing his army baggy pants and sleeveless dark brown shirt.

“Well Seiku you’ve duel well but it’s about time we get this over with! I draw. Next I summon ‘Pitch-Black Warwolf” in attack mode!” (Atk- 1600 Def- 600) This guy had clearly never dueled Seiku, ‘cause if he ever left his life points open to attack it was clearly a trap. “Now my monster finish the duel!!” His monster drew his sword and slashed at Seikus life points!
”I reveal my facedown trap card, Magic Cylinder!!” Seiku had won the duel!! At least I thought until Seiku’s trap was destroyed and his lifeponts dropped to zero.
“My monster prevents trap cards from being activated during the battle face!!” He laughed and shook his hair out of his face revealing deep black eyes. Now that I saw his eyes I noticed he was wearing nothing but black.
Merelli and I ran towards Seiku. “Seiku are you alright?” Aske Merelli, he nodded and smiled.
“That was a fun a duel, Zack!” Seiku gave him a smile but Zack simply moved towards us and said in a mocking tone.
“Please! Fun? That was way to easy to be fun. You there!” He pointed towards me
“Yeah!?” I replied angry at him for making fun of Seiku “I challenge you to a duel! Winner will take 700 duel points”
“Don’t so it Joseph.” Said Seiku, but I couldn’t just let him make fun of my friend. Besides if I won I would be one step closer to my dream!!
“Your on!!” With that we both turned towards each other and released our duel disks. The announcer told the rules. As the audience sat back down and prepared for an unscheduled duel. Our life points where up, 8000 each.
“I’ll start this duel kid!” He drew his first card. “For my first move I’ll summon, “Double Coston” and set one card face down to end my turn” (Double Coston/ Dark/ 4 stars/ Effect/ atk- 1700) His creature looked like a black bulb, and every few seconds it seemed to separate into two, but I don’t know if it was me or the card.
I drew a card and checked my hand. My first move was simple but should help me decided what to do later on “I’ll set two cards face down and summon ‘Azure- Angel of Delight lv 4’ in attack mode” My little angel looked like a little lost kid. He had a tiny little staff silver as were his robes and little magician’s hat.
Azure- Angel of Delight lv 4 (Atk- 1000+2(100) = 1200 Def-100/ light-Spell caster/ 4 stars/ Effect: This cards attack increases by 100 per magic and trap cards on the field. When this cards attack is 1500 and it is destroyed in battle you may summon an ‘Azure-Angel of Delight lv 6” from your deck or hand)
“I end my turn” His monster was stronger but I hope I scared him with my two faced down cards.
“And so it begins, for I draw and sacrifice my monster by activating his special ability I only need to sacrifice him to summon any dark monster that needs two tributes!” His black bubbly monster separated into two and shattered. “And so I summon ‘Invader of Darkness’” His monster towered over the field. It had a pure black cave and immense muscles not to mention attack power 2900 to be exact and a defense of 2500. “Now my monster, attack his Angel and destroy it!!” His monster raised his hand and cape and his attack began!!!...
