Fun lion plot, although it still doesn't convince me to use a Pyroar due to being mediocre in the games despite this episode showcasing its performance positively. I should also mention that this our first filler episode for XYZ, as it doesn't progress the plot in regards to any of Ash and pal's Pokemon or the Zygarde Core side plot thing.

I have to agree in terms of how the species is basically just a gimmick for showcasing gender differences in Gen VI, although Shishiko itself was still very cute.
