I think a BIIIIIIG thing that a lot of tutorials forget to say about spriting new Pokemon, is to draw it out on paper first. That's what I do with all my sprites.

Update: Pixel Art, it's my first. so i'd say it's reasonably good for a first.

But if it's not good i could re-do it, i saved the outline aswell.

Good elementals!

The Horsea pixel art could use some work.

Might I reccomend mixing a Mudkip and Torchic?
Either that, or either Mudkip or Torchic mixed with Pikachu, just somethin easy.

The horsea looks a bit pillow shaded, as in the light is in front of it.
The mix is pretty good I must say.
