My friend has LG and I have FR. We both got the Mystery gift . I told him I'd find out what it was for.

If simeone will direct me to the answer or tell me. Plus, Is their a sticky about this?

it allows you 2 recieve pokemon from wonderspots.
(wonderspots are things were ppl who work 4 pokemon have a giveaway and give legendaries or beldum away)

Mystery Gift is NOT like the MG from G/S/C. You can ONLY use it with Wonderspots, which are machines that send data to your game. These can be found at special Nintendo events (such as Pokemon Rocks America), and have been used to give out the Aurora and Mystic Tickets in the US.

You can't use Mystery Gift with other games.

Than to use the mystery gift I'd have to go to one of those things. The main creator of Pokemon said on a wabsite that their are few of those things anymore.

There aren't any in the US at the moment. There have been two years in a row where they've done PRA, and then there was a Wonderspot at Worlds last year, and at a few of the Comic-Cons.
