A Lost Trapinch

[Anyone 4 Buttons?]

Does anyone know where the dude in the basement's Trapinch is? I've tried lookin everywhere online for an answer, or do you just give him a normal caught Trapinch?
Any thoughts, please let me know.

Are you talking about Duking in Pyrite? (Since I don't know what "dude in the basement" you're talking about...)

You just need to catch a Trapinch from one of the Poke Spots, and he'll trade you a Meditite for it. He'll also trade Larvitar for Wooper, and Shuckle for Surskit.

If that's not who you're talking about can you be a little more specific?

I believe he means the one in the basement of the pre-gym.

Sorry about that. Yeah, I do mean the one in the basement of the pre-gym (I should have checked before I posted). So, any ideas now that I cleared that up?

Yeah, it's just a silly one-note joke, really. Later in the game he will say he's given up on finding Trapinch and wants to raise a wild of whatever's in your first slot.
