Touki's apprentice Shinobu was such a free spirit, and I was surprised that her Asanan was so well-trained. What I liked regarding the storm plot was seeing Touki's wisdom, as well as watching Satoshi and friends take pity on the Rocket-dan, although of course they shouldn't have since they ended up betraying them.

Meditite was a cool Pokemon. I like Shauna, she really is just like Ash. I think this might be the longest we've had to wait for a rematch at a Gym.

Now that I think of it, Shinobu being introduced as Touki's student in this episode seemed like a highly conspicuous plot inconsistency in the sense that she didn't appear during the Muro Gym match when Satoshi first challenged Touki.
