    Gible & Draco Meteor!

On their way to the next town, Ash & Co. meet an elderly lady who specialises in Dragon type Pokémon, specifically teaching them the special move; Draco Meteor. However, while there, a wild Gible follows them and quickly attacks them. It intends to learn Draco Meteor but is having trouble mastering the move. To make things worse, Team Rocket have their eyes on the lady's Altaria...

Not only the Gible bites ash's head. It also bites Piplup's head as well. This episode seems to have many epic scenes.

    This episode was awesome.

I haven't laughed so hard while watching the Anime for a long time.
IMO, Pochama will be hit by Draco Meteor a lot more in the future episode

I really like this new Fukamaru. Its voice is cuter than Kazunari's too.

Can't wait for the next ep.

    I loved this episode.

The strange thing about Gible is it's weird faceless expressions, sort of like it's dimwitted. Kazunari's Gible had a bit more personality. This Gible...is hard to explain. But let's say it's face remains basically the same throughout the whole time, like its incapable of smiling or getting mad.

Gible's biting is used more in this episode than Turtwig throughout it's existence before evolving. If you thought biting heads was Turtwig's thing, this episode would prove you wrong.

Reason #9001 why I'd prefer Grotle to leave instead of Gliscor. Oh well.

OMG this episode looks hilarous. Just fromthe pics that lucario put up... What happens to team rocket in like the 2nd to last picture. Oh yea btw this is awesome fan service how many times has something happened to piplup in the last 50 episodes or so. Let's see pikachu shocked it, mamoswine froze it, gible bites it and destroys it with Draco meteor

I really loved the episode. It was really funny. Gible is really naive, doesn't really show any expressions and his voice is very stoic yet his actions are funny. I'm not fond of it's voice but I like how cute it looks biting things.

Poor Pochama, it was the punching bag of the episode and I loved it.

When Team Rocket captured Staraptor, the scene reminded me of Staravia for some reason. Really funny scene, loved Staraptor's face when it noticed it was trap.

It was really clever they used that scene when Ash helped Staraptor so Gible could realize how much Ash cares about his pokemon.

I thought when they did the closeup on Jessie's butt that Gible was going to bite it yet Gible bit her head. Why the closeup on her butt then? O_O

So glad Seviper is back! :D

    It was a great episode.

    deathseer Oh, u mad bro?

No lie, this episode made me love Gible more that I ever loved Gliscor. The thing is just so loveable and crazy. Especially when it bites Ash. Looks like it hurts alot. I mean, of course it would being a shark and all. Aslo, everyone's expressions when Draco Meteor kept failing was hilarious. They all had that "Oh crap" look on their face and took off running.

Also. Mukuhawk comic reilief was seriuosly funny. Trying to fly away from the net only to be slammed into the ground....Bravo writers.

Can't wait til' next weeks episode when he catches it.

Well the writers aren't stupid everyone seems to love gible before ash even caught it. So my question is was gible trying to kill everyone with Draco meteor or was he just trying to use DM.
  13. deathseer

    deathseer Oh, u mad bro?

It looked like he was just trying to use it. It just couldn't gather enough power to fully execute the move.

But Piplup getting hit as a result is just icing on the cake.

Did gible throw the rock at Seviper when it was first going to fight? Does gible knows rock-throw too?

Oh Arceus, Oh effin' Arceus!!! This was hilarious! Everyone's expression to Gible's antics was simply priceless. I found it funny that it would randomly walk around with it's mouth agape and just wait for the right time to strike. Dear Arceus that thing has a death grip!

I also found it funny that Dawn seemed to really get exhausted after all that running. I thought she'd be used to it by now. Oh well.

Best part of this episode: Gible singlehandedly eating Team Rocket's mecha as opposed to just blasting it to smithereens. Damn that thing has an appetite for the strange.

Their expressions are actually of pure terror! Man, Gible may look expressionless, but that's what makes it so damned hilarious.

*mouth open randomly, looks towards Ash and co.*

    Ash: Uh oh...

    *Gible lunges at Ash*

I sware that right there proves that Team Rocket is fully aware that Ash is searching for them with a flyer; to the point where they set a trap for it. I did not see that one coming.

And by the look of things, Gible's going to munching on a few those poke balls

I find that's part of it's charm. It has that open mouth expression it keeps apparently no reason, only to chomp on an unsuspecting victim.

    2 Draco Meteor's and 1 Bite. Hehehe.

Brilliant scene. I actually liked that it shows that Team Rocket isn't oblivious to a bird following them.

Oh sure, some of us were perfectly aware that a large portion of hair being visible had nothing to do with biting her head. I actually didn't notice where it was zoomed in until I looked "more carefully". The hair is kind of hard to miss.

To all people who are concerned about Gliscor's departure, please bring your attention to this episode. It seems Gible is just as good, if not better, than I thought it would. Who cares if the thing is a dragon/landshark, it has some of the most random antics I've seen in a while.

This is why I love this show!!!

Some damned good icing, I might add!

This episode was quite enjoyable. Not exactly on par with the Claydol episode of AG, but it was very funny nevertheless...one of the top DP episodes.

I hope this AD does the Sunnyshore Gym battle episode(s).

Judging from the pain Ash and Piplup seemed to be in, I would have expected Bite/Crunch to be one of Gible's attacks; however, I checked the site, and neither attack are available to it. Now that's odd!

Didn't Piplup take 3 Draco Meteors?

Actually thats 3 Draco Meteor's Piplup got hit with.

Seen the episode just now & as everyone has said here & i previously said based on the pics is an epic win.
The sound Gible made during the failed attempts of DM was like this to me if i have to translate the poke-talk,

    Gible: Launch!!...Explode!!.....Explode???

Also the hilarious part of Piplup getting hit with it was because it seems that the failed attack was always homing on to it (which Piplup seems to have guessed as well). I wish the writers don't forget about this & we get to see this happening more in the future.

Also the animation director's (for this episode) favorite character seems to be Dawn because she got an awful lot of expressions in this episode compared to others.

Edit:- I forgot to mention about the expression Gible had during the "rock fall from the sky" attack of TR. It was completely oblivious to all these rocks falling beside it.

Not to forget the expression & body movement it had when Ash thanked it for saving him from the fall.
And as for Dawn's expressions through out the episode which i liked the most would be the moment when Ash told her that they have to climb that cliff to get to TR (after that exhausting chase) & her expression was like "WHAT!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!"

Probably, but I was too busy lmao to really bother doing a double check. I could, but I'm not going too. Oh to hell with it...

    Yep, 3 times.

mitchman_93 AND IT WAS THIS BIG!

I loved this episode. If I have to choose a favorite moment it has to be the DAT *** moment with Jessie. Seriously I can't believe that one passed through. This Pokemon is also a combo of the glutton the head biter and the bike destroyer. And Mukuhawk is returning to its hilarious days as mukubird. Can't help but not call it my favorite of all time.

I think I've said it before, but this Gible is a mouthbreather. It probably won't be as dopey as Lotad, but I'd give it the same range of Psyduck's old antics. Well, that is if they decide to give it good treatment.

It was a close-up of her hair tail. It was going to chomp down on it much like Totodile.

...Who am I trying to kid? The only thing racing through our minds when they did that shot was assassass.

It was... just a rock. Not everything has to be an attack.
