A New '3D' Short Coming in Japan this May

A New Short is coming to Japan in May in 3D like the Pokémon 3D adventure featuring Mew last year, I'm not sure if my translation's accurate but it's called

"Pikachu's Big Adventure at the Sea Bottom"

The Plotline is as follows:

Pikachu & Meowth have found a treasure map, for Pirate Treasure. However the Treasure is deep at the bottom of the sea having sunk in a ship. However Pikachu & Meowth manage to get under water with help of Latios & Latias. Will they be able to find the treasure?

This short also features Manafi & Buizeru

Ehn, looks okay. I swear the writers will run out of these crazy "Dora The Explorer" esque plots for Pokemon Shorts sooner or later.

But a short with 4th Generation Pokemon is always good. Pokemon seems to be going through an Ocean/Pirate phase right now. I mean, they've always made LOTS of Water Pokemon but the 9th Movie and this Short are very...pirate-y.

And what's the deal with the bigass Tail Fin in the Short Poster? 0_0

Oh! This is 3-D as in 3-d glasses. I was under the impression this was ThreeD as in Computer Generated

It seems to go through quite a few water-related phases and, personally, I'm not that keen on them.

The Whirl Cup is the only one I can think of, You know, besides all the Water Gyms.

You can add traveling on the water to that. Orange Islands, Whirl Islands, the good latter half of Hoenn...

does anyone else find it a bit off that Kimori and Achamo appear in that poster, but Mizugorou is nowhere to be seen?

Yay for the Eon Pokemon! Hmm, 3-D huh? If this is released Stateside no doubt it will be packaged with 3-D glasses like the third Spy Kids movie or, across the pond, Shrek + 3-D. It's basically the first movie packaged with Shrek 4-D as that's the only way the UK will see it.

Well, looking back at the water type's track record in the show.....no :p

Is there any particular reason that these short episodes fail to see a release on DVD? I'm sure entrance fees alone can't be that profitable in the long run, so what's the deal? If the ANA shorts can get some glory, I don't see what's stopping these from recieving the same treatment.

Otherwise, it looks to be pretty amusing. Latios and Latias really don't get enough mention imo, so to have them show up again is a nice change.

And hey, it's Buoysel! They get 'props' for giving that guy a role. *rimshot*

But what the heck is up with Bonsly crying under his glasses?

Oh I get it! Part of the water theme, eh? Let's hope they never go with a Poison-type theme so Bonsly doesn't have to use his other end.
