A new game Nintendo should make.

Lately, I've been thinking, Nintendo could appeal to fans of fighting games by making one, except with pokemon! I'm not talking about Super smash bros. melee, I'm talking about something with a fighting format like Marvel vs Capcom.

They could ahve characters like Blaziken, Sceptile, Breloom, a lot of characters. Wouldn't it be cool to be in total command of a pokemon that can actually win based on skill? And the hyper moves could be named after the attacks they can learn, only amped up. And they could be modified a bit to make some of the moves original.

Like Sceptile. I think one of his hyper combos would be based on Dig. Sceptile climbs on the wall, and digs quickly into the ground. Then, strikes the opponent below and attacks alot. Launches them in the air, jumps toward and off the wall to kick the opponent. =D

And types would matter too. And in fairness, each pokemon would have a different type attack; up to four. And their trainers from the game can help! Like giving them X Attack or X Sp. Def. And helpers too! Each trainer would have five pokemon and one is chosen randomly to help you.

Of course, we wouldn't expect such a game from Nintendo. They'll need help from Capcom.

So, what do you think? Good idea? Or dull idea? (please say good)

Good idea, but more then four techniques. The game would get repetitive after awhile. Unlocking moves now, like leveling up, now that's hawt!

I'm kinda iffy on the trainer part, but hey, whatever works. A lil' stroyline helps a game go along way.

Capcom would pwn this ****. I'd like to see them get behind the steering whell and do some damage (unlikely).

A flash version would be really kewl....*ideas*

I'd be more happy if they have a game where you could fight the HUMAN characters... Imagine, the happy fanguys who could have Misty v. May. Imagine the fights then. Even for the Pokéshippers/Advanceshippers.

Ah, I get it. You want a game like Digimon Rumble Arena, which is a fun game. I like the idea. You wouldn't just have Pokémon battles with the turn-based system, but pure brawls. I like it.

Well, yes, but I think this should be a fair arcade game. I'm addicted to arcade games like you've never seen. =D

A storyline... y'all know Onslaught from Marvel vs Capcom? Well, when it's time to fight the boss, you could fight Mewtwo. Then, once you've finished Mewtwo, you'll have to fight a Rayquaza. D= Even worse is, if you've been fighting good enough, you'll have to beat Shadow Lugia. Oh noes! XD

Yes, Capcom has been doing nifty stuff with Marvel for about 8 or 9 years.

So anyways, each pokemon would be owned by a different trainer (except for Swampert and Sceptile. What? Capcom made Roll playable, so why not a fish?). Flygon (again, Capcom) would be owned by Wes, Breloom would be owned by Michael, Heraacross would be owned by the FR/LG girl, and so forth. Each trainer would have different helpers, one of which is chosen randomly to help you. Hey, this game must have some originality.

Good idea, but the problem is there are too many pkmns and moves and fans always want to control their favorite pkmn. it's just too hard to customize so many fighters

Interesting idea, it would take a while to make though, what with more than 386 Pokemon out there. Having the humans fight would be interesting, what a story you make from some of the fights you could have...

Hey, maybe the humans could use their Pokemon to interact with fighting. Like Jessie strangling people with her Seviper, etc.

I think that the Super Smash Bros. series is good enough for me as it has tons of characters from all the major Nintendo games.
