A new team to be rated

CROWN

Quintessant Ruin
This is a new team I had a little help in making before I posted it.
Gliscor@Leftovers/ Yache Berry
Impish (+Def - S.Atk)
180 HP/ 56 Atk/ 56 Def/ 218 Spd
1: Earthquake
2: Roost
3: Fire Fang
4: Swords Dance

This is my lead and my Lucario, Breloom, Heracross and Scizor counter, can also sweep if need be. The Yache Berry can allow him to take an Ice Punch or HP(Ice).
or
Zapdos@Life Orb
Modest or Timid EV:252SpAtk/188Spe/70HP
1: Thunderbolt/Thunder
2: Drill Peck/Aerial Ace
3: Signal Beam
4: Thunderwave/Rain Dance
A possible lead instead of Gliscor. Also my main special sweeper shoule I use him for the team.

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Careful Nature (+S.Def -S.Atk)
236 HP/ 56 Def/ 216 S.Def
1: Rest
2: Sleep Talk
3: Crunch
4: Earthquake

My special wall with an HP stat of 400 and a S.Def stat of 479. Walls Azelf, Heatran, SpecsMence, Mangezone, the ever annoying Rotoms and to a lesser extent Gengar. He also absorbs status for the team.

Vaporeon@Leftovers
Bold (+Def -Atk)
188HP/252Def/70SpDef
- Wish
- Protect
- HP(DRAGON)
- Surf

My Kingdra counter,he gives me both water immunity/healing and wish support. HP(DRAGON) is for the obvious reason, Kingdra (as Frost Nova was kind enough to point out to me it was a problem). Protect let's him stay in longer, and Surf is STAB and for all those ground and rock types.

Lucario@Life Orb
Jolly (+Spd -S.Atk)
4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spd
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch/ Extremespeed

Probably the best physical Lucario setever made.

Metagross @ Lum Berry/ Choice Band
Adamant Nature (+Atk -S.Atk)
240 HP/ 80 Atk/ 188 S.Def
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion
- Earthquake/ Ice Punch/ Meteor Mash

Bullet Punch/Pursuit is to deal with my ScarfGar problem. Explosion is a last ditch move.

Cresselia@Choice Specs
Modest 252 HP/ 116 Def/ 36 S.Atk/ 36 S.Def/ 68 Spd
1: Trick
2: HP(Fighting)
3: Ice Beam
4: Charge Beam

Trick is important for dealing with bulky CMers/ Cursers and BPers. With the given EVs and Choice Specs, HP Fighting OHKOs Weavile and Mamoswine and 2HKOs Max HP Tyranitar and outspeeds Adamant Max Speed Tyranitar. Also counters Salamence, MixApe, Zapdos and Mamoswine for the team. So overall just one good pokemon. Also any changes will be in BOLD.

Oooh, congratulations! This team is very very nice! So either A) You got LOTS of help on this team or B) You actually read all the guides people have been suggesting to you over and over and over. But its most likely A, but that doesn't quite matter seein as you are actually improving, good job ^_^

I see a ScarfGengar and Skymin weak!! You could put Pursuit over TPunch to help with Gengar so you can revenge kill and what not. With the Skymin, hmm… darn this is going to take a little while, hold on a sec I'll edit this post with a solution to the Skymin deal.

EDIT: Okay, your Cress could deal with Skymin to a degree, but its not the most reliable cuz of Seed Flare hax. This might sound dumb but you could put Bullet Punch on Metagross so that it can kill Skymin without having to use Agility. Since by the time you get an agility in Skymin will either HP{Fire}/Earth Power you or switch. The team looks good, I can't really help here ;_;

Actually after more through evaluation, you get more out of Cresselia by using:

Modest Nature with 252 HP/ 116 Def/ 36 S.Atk/ 36 S.Def/ 68 Spd

Reaches the exact same HP, S.Atk, Def and Spd stat points, but with this spread you get 9 more stat points in S.Def.

Very nice team.

Thanks ForteXXX and Blue Ace. I will put pusuit over T-punch so I can deal with Gengar better and will adjust Cressilia's nature/EVs now. And yes I did get alot of help but I also have been working on becoming better myself. (EDIT) I thought Skymin had been banned to the Uber tier?

I thought Skymin had been banned to the Uber tier?
Not that I know of, but I didn't know that Deoyxs-E or Chomp got banned till everyone told me so you'll need confirmation on that one.

EDIT: No, Skymin is not banned. According to the Shoddy Battle Smogon thing its still a healthy rabid rabbit squirrel eating everyones cookies ;_;

Actually to deal with the Gengar problem use this Metagross instead:

Metagross @ Lum Berry/ Choice Band
Adamant Nature (+Atk -S.Atk)
240 HP/ 80 Atk/ 188 S.Def
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion
- Earthquake/ Ice Punch/ Meteor Mash

Pursuit + Bullet Punch means it'll take Gengar out the very 1st time it decides to show up, also to take out Sky retard. could consider Choice Band for more power since Lum Berry isn't needed as much when Tyranitar is absorbing status already.

And as for the leading role, I suppose Tyranitar can do it more effectively than Gliscor, simply for the sake of negating sashes and starting sand recoil from the 1st turn.

Thanks Blue Ace I'll switch them around, and YEAH I'm glad Skymin is'nt Uber yet (I have'nt checked smogon in a while) now I can use it in a future team.

Frost Nova

The predator awaits.
You really only need Psychic on Cresselia to counter Mixape, which Vaporeon does already. Consider Charge Beam over Psychic to help you counter Gyarados, this way you can use HP [Dragon] over HP [Electric] to help you deal with Kingdra.

Max HP Vappy seems a bit overkill to me, here are a couple of HP EVs that give max lefties recovery, so you can divert them into SDef. This way you can deal with Mixape better since NPed Flamethrowers / Grass Knots sting after a while.

252 HP EVs - 464 max HP (exactly 29 HP recovered)

188 HP EVs - 448 max HP (exactly 28 HP recovered)

124 HP EVs - 432 max HP (exactly 27 HP recovered)

60 HP EVs - 416 max HP (exactly 26 HP recovered)

188 HP EVs is the most common one, followed by 124 HP EVs. 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SDef would be my personal choice for countering both Infernape and Kingdra.

Otherwise the team looks pretty decent. I have to say this is a pleasant surprise.

I fail to see how your Gliscor is a Lucario or Breloom counter....

Breloom could put you to sleep and continue to annoy with Sub/Spore, and you can never be certain what type of Lucario your fighting, you fail to counter if its Special or you switch in on its ice punch.

It also is not a very good lead as it doesnt even provide support usual Gliscor's provide.

Zapdos would work much better as it counters what you mentioned better than Gliscor and provides more power to deal with other things like Dragons with Hidden Power [ICE]. It can even deal with the ever-so annoying celebi if you happen to use Signal Beam.

It is also faster than Gliscor which really helps and has better typing.

T-Tar is not a reliable Heatran counter, particularly with all the Scarftrans running (and I mean RUNNING) around. If he switches in on Earth Power, he's in trouble.

the tyranitar can counter ScarfTran. ScarfTran can only 4HKO that Tyranitar with leftover recovery on Tyranitar.

SpecTran can only 2HKO If the Tyranitar gets hit by Stealth Rocks first as the leftover recovery would mean heatran would JUST fail to 2HKO.

cloudk

hates you.
A nice team, though i notice a lack of special sweepers with the exception of vaporeon, who IMO, is more of a wall..Gliscor can take at least 2 hit from any kind of luke(i think) and it outspeeds luke and OHKO with EQ.

Team is also somewhat mixpert weak, though cress can solve that prob with trick. You can consider gliscor having ice fang over fire fang. Fire fang and EQ is walled by aerodactyl, gyarados, flygon, salamence, dragonite and the likes while ice fang and EQ is only walled by bronzong. Sure you'd sacrifice the power on things like scizor and fortress, but ice fang can hit more things neutral and you can do 90%+ to a skymin switching in after a SD, which is rather easy to get as most fighters will switch out.

But fire fang is still a viable option if you want the power boosts against steels and if your team can handle the pokes that wall the ground+fire combo, which your team can.

Yeah, sorry, I didnt notice he had dumped 218 Speed EV's to outspeed Neutral Speed Natured Lucario.

Sorry, my mistake for not reading the EV Spread fully. Still, in my defensive it doesnt counter the Choice Scarf set if it switches in on Hidden Power [ICE], even if it still has the yache berry its a 2HKO, However, the choice scarf set is VERY rare nowadays, its either Life Orb or Specs so yeah, the gliscor pretty much covers Lucario, It wont wont want to switch in on Ice Punch / Hidden Power [ICE] if its running leftovers or the berry has been used up tho (obviously).

T-Tar is not a reliable Heatran counter, particularly with all the Scarftrans running (and I mean RUNNING) around. If he switches in on Earth Power, he's in trouble.

Timid Scarf Tran's Earth Power: 25.0% - 29.3% Before Leftovers

Modest ScarfTran's Earth Power: 27.3% - 32.0% Before Leftovers

As you can see both 5HKO, Modest having a very small chance at a 4HKO.

And in case of an attempted Choice Specs response....

Modest Choice Specs Heatran's EP: 40.5% - 47.8% Before Leftovers

Fails to even 2HKO
