A pokemon anime possibility?

Does anybody besides me think the makers of pokemon should turn Legend of Thunder, from pokemon chronicles, into an anime? That would be so awesome!

It was a one-off special, they're not going to make a show about it.

I very much doubt we'll see a full fledged spinoff series without Ash, they even cancelled the Hoso series after a while.

Which is a real shame because many of the specials were great. Too bad 4Kids handed it over to their worst team.

It's a shame, I think there is definately room for another series, wether it is a more mature take on the franchise, the Hosou's, or a more younger viewer take or even a Shojo, could all have tons of possibilities to hit it big.

Meh I'm just fine with the Pokemon series where watching now. Though I did enjoy the special when it was aired. It kind of reminded me of Yugioh GX a bit.

Shukan Pokémon Housoukyaku. Which means Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station, that show that would air on sundays where the specials were originally shown. Not sure if it's still on though.

Legend of Thunder was a horrible special IMO. I doubt we'll see any spin-offs from Pokemon that last for more than 2 episodes.

It's a bit late now anyway. It wouldn't be bad, but we have chronicles to take our eyes off Ash and co.

Only if it got different dubbers. The people they chose for the dub did it horribly. They rewrote entire chunks of dialogue, tried to force questshipping, made Marina a totally obnoxious vapid valley girl, took out vital scenes, changed the theme of the special, and changed a characters gender. Truly a shame

Well 4Kids isn't dubbing anymore, so it would be more tolerable. But as I stated many times before, leave it to the Hosos.

That's all the "non-special" side-stories that you'll get to see, you won't be getting more than you already saw of it, unless Shogakukan and TV TOKYO plan on producing other original animated side-stories that aren't "Housous" you won't be seeing anyone but Satoshi, Haruka, Masato, and Takeshi.

Oh really? I actually didn't know that, no wonder people were talking of Chronicles 2. Well we already saw more then enough of the legend of thunder group anyway.

Which totally sucks. You've got a big world out there and yet they're not willing to let us look beyond Ash's journeys.
