A Pokemon Fighting Game

Would anybody want a Pokemon fighting game of their own? (outside of Super Smash Bros.) I mean Digimon got fighting games of their own (I heard they are OK games) so, why not Pokemon? It can be one with no humans.

Digimon Rumble Arena was awesome.

It might be fun, but not with all pokemon. Imagine using a Kingdra in SSBM.

Or, if you are reffering to character that moves around and attack freely rather than just select the attack and let the pokemon handle the situation, then maybe......a game somethong like RPG that show a story of pokemon?

Pokemon attacking freely. Just Pokemon attacking on their own, as to say a Pokemon Rumble Arena/Battle Spirits way. Think about it. It could be a good idea. Don't you have any ideas for this?

I'd like it if there was a game like that, I'm pretty sure it will never happen. Plus, some Pokémon would not be too suitable for it. Imagine Magikarp splashing around uselessly, Wailord taking the whole arena, or Roselia getting stomped on. Plus, having fish on the dry land wouldn't be that logical. Still, I'd like it if a game like that existed.

Yeah, some Pokemon would move so slowly, Steelix, Onix, Gyrados, etc. would not be very easy to control. If you read the SSBM thread in the Nintendo Discussion you will know exactly what I mean. SSB3 will be a HUGE game and there will probably be loads of Pokemon in it (Blaziken is very likely. It is almsot as if Nintendo made it solely for the purpose of it being in a SSB game (If you have seen it on pkmn Colloseum you will know what I mean)).

Obviously, you will need a Nintendo Revolution to play it. (Sony consoles will NEVER get a Pokemon game on them (unless they are emulated)).

I would like to see a 'proper' Pokemon fighting game but Pokemon like Machamp will be too popular...

No, I mean a 2D side-scrolling multplayer melee, like Digimon: Battle Spirits and Jump Superstars. That, or Sonic Battle, Shrek Superslam.

You're talking about which pokemon couldn't be in the game, but I'm thinking about a selection, like 2 pokemon from every type or some like that, lucario would fit in perfectly, it should be in the new ssbm
