A question about Lickitung in Red/Blue/Yellow

Why does Lickitung have Wrap as a listed move when you can't get a Lickitung that has a low enough level to still have Wrap on its moves list? You have to trade a Slowbro for Lickitung in Red and Blue and you can't find one of a low enough level so that Licki will still have Wrap, and the wild Lickitung you can find in Yellow are in their 50s level-wise.

Look at most of the Pokemon, they have moves that get forgotten before you get them. Like the legenderies.

I really wish I could get a Lickitung with the Wrap ability without cheating. Wrap is an awesome move when paired with Toxic in R/B/Y you know, and it has the potential to actually make Lickitung formidable, if that's possible. Oh well; I should probably just be happy that I can catch Licki in the wild in Yellow, even though it's at Cerulean Cave.

If you have Pokemon Stadium 2, you can defeat the Gym Leader Castle to relearn old moves.

Yeah, i agree that is annoying, lickitung is cool, i just got mine in Red version through trading, and wrap is a good annoyer.

According to the site, Lickitung can only learn wrap in G/S/C.
You could breed a Lickitung in G/S/C, train it to Level 25, then trade it to R/B/Y.

You could, but you still have to admit, having wrap on its moves list is pointless.
