A question, and an opinion about PMD

Question:

It's not that I need help, it's just that I read about the shopkeeper on PMD. So the question is, if you steal from him, and you get attacked by the Kecleons and win, will you get experience for it? And will you keep the stolen item?

Opinion:

Also, if PMD comes to the US, that might mean Rukario, Manene and Manyula will get English names. What's your opinion on this?

I have never survived the Kecleon attack, my attacks always only do 1 damage while theirs do loads

Oh, but what about if you use a strong pokemon against them? Is it programmed to do little damage so it forces you to pay? If so, good idea.

From previous MD games, you CAN steal from the shopkeepers, even kill them, but it won't be easy! Like in the old MD games you could tunnel out but once you leave the store the shopkeeper AND his buddies (clones of him) are all over the dungeon looking for you. One clever near sure fire trick to rob a shopkeeper is to stand on the stairs while using the Pull Ball (brings all items on the level, including shop ones, right beside you). The only catch is, depending how close the shop is to this area, you only have a very few turns to pickup the loot and jam down the stairs before THEY get you.

So it's programmed? Like I said, nice feature. Is it a random number of Kecleons?

BTW, forgot to mention, I don't own PMD.

Assumably, as he is a normal Pokemon, fused fighting attacks from a fighter types would really mess with him.

I'll bet the doing 1 point of damage to him from normal attacks was more of a level difference issue than some special immunity he had. Even at 50th level, you'll be hard pressed to do significant damage to a 90th level guy, right?

Yep. He isn't scaled to the dungeon you find him in or anything, just a flat 90th level. So you'll need to think twice before you mess with him. Even worse, if you rob something from the shop and manage to escape the room the shop was in you'll find yourself having to out manuver him AND his many summoned 90th level clones (hasted just like him) until you exit the level!
