Do you keep Plulse/Minun for the whole game or do you lose them after you use them?

You keep it as your pokemon the whole game, since it is your personal pokemon, you cannot lose it.

WHY?!?!
Your plusle/minun doesn't leave after you use it because it is you permanent pokemon...but the other pokemon you get leave after you use them.
