First, I don't need to know this for anything but just being curious for a long time.
Before you get 5 Pokéballs from May, do shiny pokémon appear in route 101?

Since EVERY Pokemon can have a shiny version of itself, yes, the Route 101 pokemon which attacks you can also be alternately-coloured.

However, it's pointless (and frustrating) to see it shiny since you can't catch it >:o
