Yeah, this team used to be pretty good about a month ago, but for some reason it dies in the current metagame waay more often than it once did. Anyway, here it is:
Snorlax (M) @ Choice Band ** Sleeper
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 82 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Return
- Shadow Ball
My favourite opening by miles. No-one expects a CBlax, and I get at least one kill every match. Has the staying power to switch back in a few times, too. It even works as a bit of a special wall, though Celebi is my main one and I rarely use it for that purpose.
Forretress (M) @ Leftovers ** Rollem
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 200 HP / 96 Atk / 214 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes
I hate it, I only use it for the combination Spikes/Spin. It walls things, but it can't damage the opponent either and ends up losing. This needs fixing.
Porygon2 @ Leftovers ** Nurbs
Trait: Trace
EVs: 228 HP / 172 Def / 110 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
I love this guy, against the right team it totally owns with it's awesome stalling-ness.
Miltank (F) @ Leftovers ** Kanatim
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 148 HP / 110 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Curse
- Heal Bell
- Milk Drink
Cleric and mini Curselax. I actually prefer it to the Snorlax variant because you can Milk Drink rather than having to rely on Rest, which gives the opponent a window to switch in a counter.
Zapdos @ Leftovers ** Volture
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 106 HP / 152 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Substitute
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
Standard Zapdos. Special attacker, not much else to say.
Celebi @ Leftovers ** Tardis
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 150 Def / 108 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Leech Seed
- Psychic
- Recover
Calm Minder used mainly as a special wall. Doesn't do anywhere near as well as it used to.
I know there are a couple of big weaknesses like Raikou and Zapdos, but if it was a perfect team I wouldn't be asking for help with it.
