So yeah, a Sunny Day team. Guarenteed Sunny Day on the first turn, then fire off Blaze boosted Fire Blasts and Close Combats. If I don't think I can kill something, I use Endeavor. I don't think I'll need 8 turns of heat since Battle Tower...well, battles tend to be short.

Eggy doesn't need a full 252 EVs in Spe if he's going to be under the Sun. Methinks 48 HP / 252 SpAtk / 208 Spe is good for getting past base 130's under sun.

As for Chomp, I'm not sure if Scarf is really needed in the BT. But whatever.

Well, I might have to be random in my Infernape EVs then.

For Infernape EVs, you could always run the MixApe ones, since there's no need to max out Speed with Infernape ( That would be 64 Atk / 252 Sp.Atk / 192 Spe ).

On a side note, you don't have a way to deal with Hax abusers atm. Though I suppose you're skilled enough to beat them.

The best I can hope to do is OHKO them before they get a chance to really hax me. I could add Aerial Ace on Garchomp over Fire Blast to hit Double Teamers.

But then your Garchomp becomes useless against Zong and Skarm. If you were going to use AA on him, you should use it over Stone Edge.

Good point. Outrage can probably beat Moltres/Charizard anyways, which was the only reason I even had Stone Edge.

Because apparently Infernape's Sunny Day STAB Fire Blasts don't already deal with them. =/

I will admit he's considerably less safer switching in, but still.

Also, I ran the calcs with Outrage against Moltres, and it's a clear OHKO on 4/0 Moltres.

Edit: Also, just figured I'd add that Infernape wouldn't need to survive that long because BT matches are short, and considering the extremely offensive nature of Sunny Day Teams, even shorter. So yeah.


Just throwing this out there, I'm not disagreeing with the switch, I was just bored and saw a chance to argue and jumped at it. *shrugs*

A blatant Starmie weakness... :-/ But in the sun, Exeggutor outruns him... just be wary. Only trouble I spot are a couple of overlapping weaknesses. But you cover them rather well.

Starmie will probably beat Infernape, but I can outrun and KO Starmie with Exeggutor as you mentioned. I'm not too worried about overlapping weaknesses to be honest.
