A Silver Lining; hand drawn comic-thing

Jedi Flygon

Rainbow Trainer
Nice! But I didn't get it that much.

Ooh, nice. I like the way you've drawn the Pokemon and trainers in a more realistic style. Very refreshing.

That meowth on the chapter page looked very nice.

There's not enough drawn comics at current either, so as one hand drawn artist to another, I wish you luck with your webcomic, and welcome you to Serebii.net.

More drawn, ah welcome to the club. Even though it's still drawn it looks like a journey comic, hopefully it'll grow on me though.

The realistic style is pretty nice though.

Thanks everyone. :D

Nice! But I didn't get it that much.

Heh, I'll have to clarify things in later pages... I have the tendency to stop explaning once something makes sense in my head. xP

I like the creativity and the expression. ^_^

*beams* Thank you!

they are alright

Thanks~ ^_^

I love your webcomic, so I'm happy you said nice things about mine. x3 *brief Fangirl Victory dance* I prefer to draw realistically... but really good realism takes much more time than I have to spend on one comic page! So I try to find the happy medium.

Thanks a lot for the compliments and the welcome! :D

I'm afraid I don't have a clear-cut path for this to go in, after the second chapter (which as far as my brain can stretch, anyway.) ^_^ I'm trying to add more onto the plot to keep it away from the Just Another Journey category... but I guess I'll just draw what's most fun and hope for the best. Heheh.

*coughs* Yeah, I kinda forgot this thread existed... So for those who were gonna keep up, theres, like, nine new comics. XD I feel bad 'cause I'm pushing this thread up, like, three pages... but this is an update, and I'm not posting it to bump the thread, so... Yeah. >_>

Updates have started to take a scheduale, every Tuesday and Friday.

And, many appologies for the double-post. ^^()

Hey, nice work. I quite like your drawing style, especially how you go for a more realistic touch.

And goodness knows hand-drawn Pokemon comics are awesome. The hand-drawnness serves to give your story a lot of soul.

Keep it up!

Thank you Mastercougar. =D I have no idea how to sprite, and simple, happy tools like pencils confuse me less than computer programs, so this is the only kinda comic I can make. x3

Anywho, update...

New page-thingy.

Psycick Potato

I saw them all and they are really good! I like the character bios. because they are done in color, but the comic is great to!

ahh, i've been reading this comic for a long time and still never poted until now. Anyway, the drawings are amazing and you show a lot of creativety. Keep up the great work!

Hee, thanks a lot munchlaxboy... ^_^ All the nice comments make me happy. :3

Actually, so would some constructive critisism, to whoever just gave the thread a one. XD

It's very nice and the art has a certain flare to it that I haven't seen in a long time.

Ah I see you applied for the Academy, I guess I could give you a few quick pointers. First of all darken the lines or ink every comic you make. You don't have to color them, but the gray, inconsistent in color lines lose professionalism when you are doing a comic. Fully CGed or nice, dark black lines is what most people can relate to here.

I like the style though.

Thanks a lot, Greek Saw. :3

Infinity, inking the comics is a good idea... or if that proves too time-consuming (which it shouldn't, but I've been kinda busy lately) I suppose I could level them in Photoshop until the lines are black... Thanks for the crit! ^_^

Well, if you use a vectoring program you can just fix them with a few easy clicks. That's what I do with all of my stuff.

I don't have a vectoring program. ;-; But thanks anyway. ^_^

Inkscape is free, but it takes a little time to get used to and I'm not sure if Photoshop will recognize the file extenstion (.svg).
