Following today's lunar duo arc conclusion, the official account has revealed a new winter arc, focusing on Sinnoh's myths

This is most likely to coincide with BDSP's release.
Thoughts?

Considering how the ending of today's episode with Dawn was vague I'd be really surprised if Dawn doesn't return in this special or in the future in general
Also since this episode is supposed to deal with Sinnoh's myths, I'm VERY confident we will see Cynthia

I personally think that it is the themes surrounding them. Cresselia and Darkrai; dreams and nightmares. Dialgia and Palkia; space and time. There is just so much that one can do with that.

It's the fact that DP legends in general are pretty cool af and like Rune Knight mentioned there's so much that could be done with them! Plus it makes sense they would get arcs with BDSP and LA

If it's anything like the recent Darkrai episodes, then I'm not looking forward to it, not even if it involves Hikari again or Shirona returning given that the latter could return in practically any future episode without needing a whole Shinou mythology mini-arc as a justification. The fact that this mini-arc might center around Dialga and Palkia is probably why I'm the most apprehensive about it considering that they've already received their share of screen-time in the DP saga and movies. While I understand why they'd be promoted again, unless they gain new forms, I'm not sure what more the writers can do with them that they haven't already done.

Oh well, for the B/W remakes; but the poster for the show does have Reshiram and Zekrom in it so there's hope.

Life and death might also be a little too much for the children but I think that it would've made an interesting lore as well though it was kind of covered in the Diancie movie but personally it wasn't my favorite.

This is going to be a part of the main anime right? I don't want another Generations/Twilights/BW2/ORAS special thats only 5 minutes long full of random promotion and no plot as that's just a waste of time. It needs to be at least 20+ minutes long imo.

If Dialga and Palkia are featured, no doubt that Giratina will too. I wonder if they'll also tie-in with Legends by having Ash and Goh travel back in time to feudal Sinnoh. Dialga has the ability to send them there.
