A UU Team

GIGA DRILL BREAK!!!!
So I was in a battle with my OU team and while playing I realized; my team is mostly lower tier pokemon, why not just go to the lower tier? so here I am with a UU team that I'll probably use for all occasions now. So lets start.

103px-625Bisharp.png

Bisharp@leftovers/life orb
Adamant
Defiant
Ev's: 252 attack, 252 speed, 4 hp
-Swords dance
-Sucker punch
-Pusuit
-Brick break/Low sweep

I've always loved this guy. He looks cool and hits quite hard. Swords dance is to further his beast attacking power, couple in a defiant boost and it's lights out. Sucker punch and pursuit are STAB and puts most ghosts and psychics into a confusing situation. Either they predict right or they die. The last move is a toss up. Brick break hits hard and covers darks and steels while also dealing with screens, but low sweep lowers speed which can allow me to either come in with a new poke who may not be fast and either revenge the poke or force a switch. The item is also a toss up, life orb for damage, leftovers for recovery. I'm pretty defensive so I probably would use leftovers

Weavile.gif

Weavile@focus sash
Adamant/Jolly
Pressure
Ev's: 252 attack, 252 speed, 4 hp
-Ice punch
-Ice shard
-Brick break
-Pursuit

This is the same weavile in my OU team that I love so much. This little guy has won me many battles. I also chose the focus sash because it's actually saved me a few times and won the battle. Ice punch and pursuit for STAB, brick break for coverage, and ice shard for priority.

Uxie%20p.png

Uxie@leftovers
Bold
Levitate
Ev's: 252 hp, 148 defense, 108 special defense
-Thunder wave
-Heal bell
-Stealth rocks
-Psyshock/Psychic

So after trying him out, Uxie was a much better choice then celebi. I also now have a better counter to fightings that don't love to use payback. Thunder wave is to cripple fast sweepers, Heal bell to heal statuses that I don't like, and stealth rocks for hazards. I'm not sure wether I should use psychic or psyshock to keep uxie from being taunt bait, but I have been liking psyshock so far.

Gastrodon1.jpg

Gastrodon@leftovers
Calm
Storm Drain
Ev's: 252 hp, 136 defense, 120 special defense
-Earth power
-Ice beam/scald
-Recover
-Toxic

Gastrodon is amazing. Again, this is the same set from my OU team, just a different nature. Earth power for STAB, ice beam for grass and grunds and the occasional dragon, recover for recovery, and toxic for stall. I may use scald over ice beam since I only really needed ice beam for OU threats.

nidoking.jpg

Nidoking@life orb/choice scarf
Timid
Sheer force
Ev's: 252 special attack, 252 speed, 4 hp
-Earth power
-Flamethrower
-Ice beam
-Thunderbolt

Nidoking was always a cool dude back in R/B/Y, but now with sheer force, he hits like a truck. Not only that, but he resists fighting, rock, and can soak up toxic spikes. The only problem I've had is his speed. I may make him a scarf set to outrun and revenge things, but he seems fine as is. Earth power for crazy STAB. Flamethrower, ice beam, and thunderbolt for coverage and sheer force boost.

630.png

Mandibuzz@leftovers
Careful
Overcoat
Ev's: 252 HP, 140 defense, 116 special defense
-Fly/Brave bird
-Roost
-Whirlwind
-Toxic

When one sees this pokemon, the only thing you can do is scream at the screen "DIE ALREADY!!" This is my troll of troll walls. Toxic for stall, roost for recovery, and whirlwind to phaze things that piss me off. The last move is a toss up to keep me from being taunt bait. Brave bird is a reliable STAB move that hits hard enough, but fly stalls out toxic and I can sit there and lolololol. Yes, they could just protect from the fly damage, but then their wasting PP and losing helf (yes, helf, not health) to toxic. However, fly is really their as a troll thing and I probably will replace it if enough people tell me too.New ev spread allows her to be a more mixed wall and even more annoying.

-So this is my team. I haven't battled in UU much so I don't really have a threat list. My main concern is to get celebi the **** off my team, so a different member would be greatly appreciated. So with that, fire away.

for your nidokings speed, have you considered maybe a shell smashing baton pass tactic? i learned this from another person (name escapes me) but use a gorebyss that has shell smash, and there ya go!

Well, that sounds pretty good, but I don't really like baton passing tactics. I might try it though. Thanks for the input.

You should put something in for Celebi that acts as a good lead and can set up entry hazards. This would work well with your Mandibuzz's whirlwind and toxic combo. The shell smashing baton pass strategy suggested by darkrai's shadow sounds great, but shell smash ups attack as well, which your Nidoking isn't using. You could probably just as easily use an agility user with baton pass.

who cares if it ups it attack? it ups special attack AND speed two points, it doesnt matter if it ups attack

Yeah, I tried a hitmontop for a while but it doesn't seem to cover it well. Maybe there's a poke with heal bell and rocks cause I don like status. Or I could go back to donphan.

You put the EVS on Nidoking wrong. You gave it 252 Attack EVS while it is only using special attacking moves. The shell smashing tactic proposed by Darkrai's shadow would work, if you were using attack moves. Maybe you could switch Nidoking's moveset to something more physical that works with sheer force, or even if it didn't, you could still get the massive attack boost.

But u should change the 252 Atk EVs into Sp. Atk.
As for the Celebi replacement, have you tried Uxie? I've used him to set up rocks, Heal Bell, and piss people off with Thunder Wave if I feel like it. It's really helped. Plus, it has great defenses.

You should consider changing Mandibuzz's spread to 252 HP/140 Def/116 Sp. Def. With Careful, this gives you an incredible 424/281/280 defenses.

GIGA DRILL BREAK!!!!
@pokefantez: woah, totally messed that up. guess I was tired but that has been fixed.

@soperman: I honestly haven't used any of those three before, but I have seen atleast Uxie and Azelf used to success. If you can give me a god support set I'd be more then happy to put it in place of celebi.

@xvandslauxx: That seems like a good spread. I was always bad at coming up with more complex ev spreads but atleast with this she'll be a mix wall and even more annoying.

Anyways, for those still recommending the smash pass, if someone could tell me which poke to take out for it I'd be willing to try it out a bit before i finalize it. Otherwise, thanks for all the rates so far. :D

My lead Weavile I use is:

Weavile @ Focus sash
Pressure
252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4hp
Adamant

Fake out,
Swords dance,
Ice shard,
Brick break.

It can use Fake out, then get atleast one SD up (Focus sash) Ice shard for priority and BB for screens/coverage.

Its a great poke, but I think Jolly may be better sometimes.

My weavile is basically just used to revenge, but the sash, when intact, does allow me to atleast kill one poke before it dies, maybe even more. However, I probably will try a LO on it cause the extra power would be great, and I'll use jolly because apparently, max speed timid gengar out speeds max speed adamant gengar. Idk, it was really confusing and I did think it was scarfed, but then it took life orb recoil. It sucked.

The combo of cacturn and poliwrath eat your team for lunch, so a Dragon-type would be great for this team.

I was merely commenting that since Shell smash would lower other stats, you wouldn't want to pass those weakened stats over. An agility passer would still give you just as much speed, wouldn't add redundant stat ups, and wouldn't weaken his Nidoking.

Why you suggest a dragon I will never know, but I don't see that much of a problem with them. I can most likely toxic stall them both to death with mandibuzz, but I may take out bisharp or Nidoking out for a roserade to set up some spikes or something. I don't really know, if you give me an actual Pokemon to use, I'll be willing to test it out and see if it helps, even though I rarely see either of the two on a team, let alone together. So, I will probably drop bishop for gorebyss. Also, I believe it was pokefantez, may I direct you to a little item called a white herb? No more defense drop? Yeah, shell smash is better because it raises nidokings power to stupid levels. Oh my god I'm gonna do that with a darmanitan later :D

^That's true, I wasn't thinking about that. Maybe I''ll have to try it out myself some time or something. Just curious, but with the way the team is now, who would you baton pass the extra attack to? Still it doesn't seem like a bad idea if you were to pass to a physical sweeper like Darmanitan. Like I said, maybe I will use that strategy on a future team.
Roserade doesn't seem too bad, though I would recommend using Toxic Spikes over regular spikes, unless you have a paraflincher or something.
To mean Mr. Snorlax, you should see his OU post to see how much mayu seems to hate dragons.

You are better off with life orb, because sheer force negates the recoil, for some reason.

Snarl lowers the target's SAtk most of the time, so combined with max Def, allows you to wall even MORE

Oh god lol you saw that XD it's not that I hate dragons, I just. Hate how used they are. I don't like using things like ferro and jelly because they are so overused. I would however use these things if I'm in a tournament where I REALLY need to win. Anyways, snarl is IMO, a horrible move. Fly is not even for damage, it's for both lulz and toxic stall. Also gives me free lefties since they can't hit a turn. I'm not saying it's a good move, but it stalls and keeps me from complete taunt bait as fly will stall out two turns of taunt for one PP and a free turn of no damage. I'm also not going to sash bishop because of two reasons. 1. If I do smash pass to him, he should be fast enough to outspend and if I smash pass at a good time, I could possibly get up a SD. 2. Why would I leave bisharp in on a fighting type? So yeah, I probably missed something here but yeah, that's what I got for now. I'm just so out of it.

Have you tried swag-punishment on Mandibuzz? Seems like a pretty good strategy for your team.
